You do realise you are thanking @Bungie for 'fixing' what they broke in the 1st place & that they keep repeating the exact same behaviour!?
Calling others entitled for expecting a so-called AAA developer that charges AAA prices to provide a AAA service, says a lot about you because you plainly have a low-bar for excepting subpar products, are very easily pleased & you are obviously gullible, naive & childish! 🤔

No, as someone getting into the IT industry I have much more of an appreciation for the work that is involved in these changes and the amount of work to fix them when they go wrong. Regardless of who messed up I’m thanking them anyway for most of the time having a quality product which can be hard to find these days.

Can't see u going far then pal. Taking that view without seeing the reality behind bungies antiquated engine reeks of naivete.
thanking them anyway for most of the time having a quality product
Yeah, right... You mean a business that has refused to invest in their own game for 16 years that is using an outdated broken engine/P2P "quality product", and you say you are getting into the IT industry, WOW!

I have family im extremely close with who work in programming and testing is the largest phase of their company as it needs to make sure their app works. But for Bungie their testing is poor, hell even their Quality insurance testers are -blam!- (Callback to trials first launching and the testers thinking artifact is OK and that in the trailer a hunter survives a dawnblade because of it) Bungie has almost no testing they launch and work from there

…I’m thankful that they broke it & fix it? But hours that where’d lost was a meh. Well the servers are up so yeah let’s not hope this won’t happen again.👀

In the IT industry what happens when someone wants something fixed and it breaks constantly still after you "fixed" it?
-
Usually the company gets a new IT department because they aren't doing their job lol.

If you are just getting into the IT industry you should have realized its a function of cost cutting on Bungies end. Notorious for not hiring more testing in the industry. And then we get people defending the company.
