I’ve copied and pasted this post in few different threads now, because it seems as though people are mistakenly latching onto cheating as the biggest issue with crossplay.
Cheating is the most minor issue concerning cross platform play. It’s only one of a myriad of issues, and in the grand scheme of things it’s the most easily solvable. It’s safe to assume that the majority of console players are still playing on PS4 or Xbox One. They’re instantly at a significant disadvantage against PC players who are playing in 60 FPS with maxed FOV settings. Even with increased recoil on MnK, it still enables vastly superior target acquisition and movement mobility than controller. The sandbox might be the same but the playability differences between pc and console are night and day.

60 fps? more like 240 and higher... That's what I get anyway. That god awful 30 fps makes me dizzy.

If you don't solve or get a strong handle on cheating, you might as well forget about fixing your other issues.

Last Gen console players are at a disadvantage against PC players for the same reason they're at a disadvantage against current gen console players now? You don't say ... So yea cheating is the primary concern.
