I didnt report you because you disagreed. And i did solo riven. You do know raid report does not show people leaving right? Everyone left at riven so i solo'd riven with 1-2 punch before it was nerfed. So again...thanks for proving my point that you dont know anything about how the game works .. But no one will. Just like you can use year 1 weapons but almost no one does. Its not just if the activity requires the power level. People are grinding to raise that power level. Doesn't matter what's required. It's a number that is our objective to raise. Like you're level in the game or something. You can argue this all you want but people will still want their power to climb and show it. I think that we still have power climb is dumb but that's just me. Am I against weapon retirement, not entirely. Though I think bungie should have dropped more info on what is new and where it will come from. Currently all they dropped was the negative and that has left people upset... not surprisingly tho.

Many people still use year 1 weapons actually. Many first completion raiders still use midnight coup.

Sure I can use them but whats the point? Cant take them to nightfalls, cant take them to trials, cant use them in raids. The only places they are allowed in is patrols, regular pvp and possibly gambit

Strikes: yes Ordeals: maybe the lowest leveled one, Not efficient for the milestone. And eventually, the power will go way above the old weapon’s ceiling. Making it unuseable Nightfalls: why would I run a regular nightfall? Menagerie: rendered obsolete by weapon sunsetting unless the loot pool is updated

Menagery need a new lootpool in year 4. Same with iron strike specific loot. Strike loot. Crucible loot. Forges. And iron banner. Because if we have the same IB weapons next season that means they will only be usable for that season since they are forsaken weapons from season 4.

Holy crap!!! I get what you’re saying and you’re 100% right but your wasting your time. These are the people that will run the same three weapons till year seven and they will still be able to since they can’t move on in most content.
