I understand how some pinnacles are used way too much. Now that makes sense. Like Mountaintop, amazing weapon but it makes sense because everyone uses it. Now people think of recluse and how it should be retired bc it’s easy to get and it’s used by EVERYONE. But think about this Bungie. People, along with me, paid money for the ornaments for weapons like Recluse. We paid MONEY. think for once.

If you spend real money on micro transactions then you are part of the problem.
-
125 RepliesWEAPONS DONT GET DELETED. YOU CAN STILL USE THEM.
-
I feel like if there were more Pinnacle weapons there would be more diversity but that's just my opinion :/
-
Yet another reason why you should never, ever, spend money on eververse. Complete waste of money in every possible way.
-
1 ReplyI feel like the pinnacle retirement is kinda... terrible. Dont get me wrong, I hate revoker, but like not forgotten? Broadsword(which I finally got recently) but those weapons are balanced fairly well and rewards skilled play, revoked needs to be reworked in itself, they did the same for NF and recluse so I dunno why they cant be bothered to do the same for revoker :/ I really understand some of the reasoning for them wanting to retire weapons, but like i think proper balancing would be the way to go. (Maybe they could introduce a PTS to help with testing now that they dont have the extra resources they had with actiblizz)

17 RepliesWho uses recluse?? Lol

Redrix's and Not Forgotten is by far the best reason/example for exempting pinnacle & pursuit weapons or in the very least they should be the only pinnacle and pursuit exempt from sunsetting. These two weapons have a very long quest chain linked to them. Each step is asking the player to either display proficiency or to obtain said proficiency which if you are part of the later is a teaching experience that made you a better player. Lastly these weapons create a feeling of accomplishment in the player and serve as trophys and acknowledgement of their ability. If you really want to destroy this unique and well designed experience to improve player skill bandwidth with a meaningful reward and sense of accomplishment you need to re-evaluate how you are trying to keep your consumers interested to come back.
I understand how some pinnacles are used way too much. Now that makes sense.
Makes NO FRACKING sense! Who cares "how much" i use any weapon. So what if people like to use a weapon. It's the dumbest fricken criteria i've heard. If that's the standard you can't make anything good cause if it's good people will use it too much and then it will get nerfed. Frackin dumb standard.

5 RepliesRather than sun setting pinnacles, just make them exotics so we can bring them up with us. Do we get a refund on legendary ornaments we bought?
-
You can still use it. There not deleting it. I deleted it after 1 week of using, same with Not Forgotten.
-
Edited by Crystilonus2011: 5/17/2020 2:05:19 AMYou CHOSE to pay money for them knowing that destiny belongs to bungie and can be changed at any time. Bungie didn’t make you buy them. Own your choices.
-
And you can still use it. No one is saying you cannot use it. That would be a choice that You will have to make.
-
8 RepliesFirst decent argument I've seen against sunsetting that I actually agree with and hadn't thought of. People actually spent real life money on ornaments for these weapons. That is actually a good point!
-
why did you pay money? The ornaments were drops from engrams or just a small amount of dust if it happened to be sold in the weekly rotation
-
That’s a good point, I mean ig was my choice to buy the Whisper ornament as I had left over silver and I was excited at how cool the gun seemed, but now it sits in my vault taking up space due to its last nerf. Didn’t even really get a good run out of it really
-
3 RepliesDon’t people get tired of running around with the same shit? Hmmm I will play PvE only use recluse and mountaintop hurrrrrrrr.
-
Cool story What is even funnier than paying for ornaments is all those who paid for the weapons 😂😂😂😂
-
3 RepliesDon’t forget, recluse is being used a LOT because the seasonal artifact has smg champion mods and recluse is the only viable smg (on console at least). I bet if the mods weren’t smg related recluse would not be used as much.

Edited by Snafu Gundam: 5/16/2020 9:31:34 PMFCS they are NOT being retired they are being level capped to encourage you to use other weapons in endgame activities. Most activities in the game are currently at 750 while gear is currently capp at 1010. You be fine stop whining.
-
I feel like NF at the very least should stay. It requires you to hit legend and while it may not be as difficult to get as it was before it’s still difficult. If LW and GoS weapons are sticking around so should NF.
-
1 ReplyI pray that they do not put a level cap on Not Forgotten. I grinded my butt of for it and it sucks now, but I still love it.
-
This is why you never spend money on microtransactions. It's the same thing as if Bungie released a Destiny 3 and we had to start all over again without our vault full of loot. Which is exactly what will happen in D3. If there is a D3, and at this point let's hope there's not.

Pinnacles should be made into Exotics. Not the Ritual ones are they don’t have unique perks. Most pinnacles are better than Exotics anyway. The effort it took to get them should not be ignored. Exotics for Pinnacles is not ideal as it limits to one slot but at lest we have them. Bungee would nip this uproar in the bud straight away if they announced this.

Edited by redghost: 5/16/2020 3:42:50 PMI was about to grind for Hush but sadly no point now. Real shame as i love Bows.
-
Pinnacle should be treated like exotics i think I mean especially when who knows if we will ever get new fresh pinnacles to chase I’d bet not, be lucky to have rituals to chase

THANK YOU Refunds??
