Your problem is the same problem people had with the material grind for the exotic swords in D1:
YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO SIT AND GRIND OUT 40 MATCHES IN A ROW
The idea is to play and complete the objective over time. It's the same problem players had with the materials for the exotic swords in D1. Instead of playing the game and getting the materials over time as you play, people just farmed planetary materials for hours and hours until they got what was needed. That wasn't, and isn't, the intent.
During the course of D2 year 1 how many games of Crucible did we all play? Dozens? Hundreds? Don't sit and grind out 40 matches in a row like an idiot. Play a few a day and work toward the objective slowly. That way you don't get burnt out.
"But W1cked, I want the pinnacle weapons now!"
Well then suffer and grind. Otherwise stop whining.

That is really inconsiderate of your peers if you ask me. You basically just put yourself up on this high pedestal like you are better than "normal people". People aren't taking time to look at how they talk if it doesn't have anything to do with their job. Why would I need to know how to write/speak perfectly if I wasn't gonna be a writer or public speaker? What you "said to your peer" was demeaning if anything.
-
Huh? I lumped myself and him into the group that is defined as "normal" , and peers was in regards to any normal person. You've made my point entirely, misunderstanding me completely. Thanks

There's 2 types of people in the world: Those with common sense.. And those who try to take every word you say at literal face value.
There's 2 types of people in the world: Those with common sense.. And those who try to take every word you say at literal face value.
False. There are two types of people in the world. Those who take pride in what they say, and those who do not. You are the latter.
-
False. There are 2 kinds of people in this world those with loaded guns and those who dig.

I'm not the one in this conversation who lacks reading comprehension and the ability to understand the intent of words as they're written or spoken rather than just their literal definitive meaning.. Nice try though.
-
Understanding literal definition of words is the very fiber of comprehension. ..lol
-
No. You're the one in the conversation who can't seem to comprehend what you actually said. I was just trying to help you. Don't be mad.

Nah, with the franchises track record, if you truly want to enjoy a good weapon, you better get it early. There is no telling how long said weapon will be considered good. if it really is good, it gets nerfed or outclassed pretty quickly.
-
That's true, however if we all completed the pinnacle grind objectives roughly as they were intended the weapons would be acquired more slowly and thus last in the meta longer before being nerfed or adjusted, and we'd all get to use them. My point is yes, you can grind and it sucks but that's not the way the objective was meant to be completed. So if you want to grind you have to suffer for it.
-
I would bet my left nut that the grind is exactly how they intended it to be.
-
this is working exactly as intended -bungie

Fair enough. i grinded it out after people started saying it was really good. I figured i better get in on this now, before its not worth grinding for.
-
Yeah my buddy has it and I thought about grinding but I just can't bring myself to grind THAT much Gambit all at once. I'll get it done in a few days though.
