The OP is about fated engrams which are 1 new exotic per week per account [i]IF[/i] you want to spend legendary shards for it.
That isn’t the same as making the drop rate the same as D2Y1, or incentivizing doing hours of public events because it’s a “fast exotic farm”.
It doesn’t matter if YOU like the new predatory exotic drop rate. Giving players an OPTIONAL quality of life increase like fated engrams
Is a positive thing for the game. If you want to deny other people something they want because you don’t want them to have it you have serious issues.

Calm down buddy I'm just saying wait till next season before adding them to fated engrams I've also made a few other posts clearly stating I think the actual drop rates need tweaked they are undoubtedly a little harsh right now so no need to jump down my throat.

[i]And the problem isn't Exotic drop rates and the solution isn't Xur. The problem is Exotic duplicates and the solution is more of a favorable drop chance at new Exotics -> Armor -> Weapons. Which they have done, but still doesn't seem like enough in my experience. Only 1 Forsaken Exotic since the update[/i] Expansions come out every 3-4 months with Events and updates in between. Plenty of time and reason to play. After those 3-4, add the Exotics to Fated Engrams as players chase new ones. The fact of the matter is, why hardly anyone is agreeing with this here, is because they are frustrated they aren't getting what they [b]think[/b] they deserve. Just like how people stomp there way here because they couldn't reach their Luna's because they couldn't solo queue, couldn't take another game of the current meta, couldn't kill the meatball when it popped up for them, didn't have the meatball spawn after numerous games, didn't get the vanity items from the meatball, has that 1 guy on the team who is ruining the experience in Gambit... it's all the same thing as this. Nothing is guaranteed. Again, the core of the problem and the solution above.
