You missed the overall point. It's sloppy programming and shouldn't happen PERIOD! Especially at the $300-500 I've paid for the Destiny 1 and 2 and all the expansions over the last 4 years.
Why offer a product to the public that is slightly defective regardless of the defect? Would you purchase a car or refrigerator you knew to be defective because the manufacturer told you in advance it was defective?
Hell no you wouldn't.
So why have we as a species come to accept mediocrity and sub-standard products at this level for this or any other computer related product? (i.e. Microsoft, Intel, Lenovo, Apple, Android, Samsung). We accept updates as common place but shouldn't we demand the creators of these products offer a product that doesn't require constant reprogramming to fix issues that should have never happened in the first place?
