DON'T BUY ISOCHROMAL ENGRAM FROM XUR!!!!!!!!!
Let me first say I love this game.
What just happened is beyond inexcusable and just piss poor programming. I went to XUR to get the "Isochromal Engram" this morning. And what did I get for the "item to complete my collections", but a Skyburner's Oath for 97 wasted legendary shards. Why in the world is that even possible when:
1.) I have already received that weapon 10 times over since Sept, 2017.
2.) It's being sold in the 4 possible options directly below the stupid 97 shard engram for 29 shards.
NOW DOES THAT MAKE ANY F**KING SENSE?
IT SHOULDN'T EVEN BE REMOTELY POSSIBLE to the 1/1,000,000,000th of a percent chance for that to happen.
It's B.S. and I want my 97 Legendary Chards back BUNGIE.
I've spent 4 weeks leveling up from 385 to 570 and the Skyburner's Oath was a 551 light,19 light points less than all of my equipped gear. If you want more people to buy and play your game.
YOU really need to correct the serious deficiencies in your probability algorithms in relation to the seriously BROKEN DROP SYSTEM.
I've got 3 NEW exotic Engrams in 4 weeks out of quite possibly 3500 drops, most of which have been the ridiculously worthless "Edge Transit, Badlander, Smugglers Word", and the 2750 other useless, (15-20 light lower than actual light), rare engrams I've received in the last 4 weeks.
IT'S UTTERLY PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

smart one its probably because you have everything from year one and the engram from xur can't grant year 2

1 ReplyBungie made it very clear before forsaken dropped that they would NOT drop Forsaken exotics. And if you got a repeat, you already have all year 1 weapons and armor that are non-quest rewards.

In short: Buyer refused to inform himself of what he bought and thus had the wrong expectations and now blames the seller for this. Another of many topics where bungie is blamed for players fault. Sigh....

4 RepliesFated Engrams do not give Year 2 exotics, and can give duplicates if all Year 1 exotics for the class you are on have already been acquired (for example, if you have all Warlock exotics, you can get a duplicate by getting the engram with a Warlock).

2 Repliesthey stated in TWAB a long while back - that Xur's fated engrams will NOT give out any forsaken exotics. Not for a long while. so only Y1 exotics will drop from there - if you have them all then it'll give you a rando one - obviously that is wasteful. They have warned of this many times.
