3+ years? I have been a Bungie fan since Oni came out on the PS2. Never in the 17 years of following this company have I ever seen it this low with it's own fanbase. This is a company that for a decade with Halo was an active participant with the community itself. I remember Bungie Day and how you had a shot of playing against devs - so much fun. Now, all we get is some vlog on what their office is like as though we should be impressed that they get custom latte's on the ground floor or whatever...this company has fallen so far...

Did you know back before they left Halo that if you were playing Halo Reach a certain day they gave everyone that was on that day the flaming helmet? For the player base playing Halo Reach that was a huge thing that was much appreciated and it was showing the player base how much they appreciated them. That is including what you have stated how they actually interacted with the player base etc... Here it is 10+ years later and within 2 months this company has shown so much disrespect within that time than any company has in gaming history. How the hell do you go from showing respect and appreciation to your player base to creating an entire game revolving around Micro and spit in your player base face?

  • Yup - I had the blue flame helmet (orange came with the rpeorder, blue from Bungie Day).
How the hell do you go from showing respect and appreciation to your player base to creating an entire game revolving around Micro and spit in your player base face?
Easy - the people that gave a fvck at Bungie - the Staten's and the Lehto's and the McDonnell's - are all gone. And what do we have left? The Smith's who think MTX's are the way of the future. The Noseworthy's who do not even understand the mechanics of their own game. The Thompson's who apparently struggle with narrative concepts, like a plot and pacing. These are the people we have building this game. Sorry, but the passion is not there anymore.
