It just sucks that this company is pulling nonsense like this. It's always the same reply to that Cozmo gives. None of this needed to happen but it did and it was done deliberately. Bungie already knows how to put things right and saying things like this
That said, keep it coming. When we return to full force in 2018, details will be shared on the feedback that was collected and how we'll look to address it.
They already know how to address it. There is no looking into it to see "what went wrong" when it was done deliberately. This wasn't a "mistake" with now this Lie that 1,000+ employees are off for 3 weeks and nothing can be done about this right now???
If Bungie thinks they are excluded from this they better think again, No company is...

The truth behind what this company is pulling
https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=615s&v=2SsJ9s6KB5c
Now Bungie is saying content is too hard to make? They sure didn't have a hard time making Curse of Dawning, and the statement before this.
We created a system that will allow us to create content much easier
The paywall they thought they were going to get away with, with this expansion
30C
XP both times they lied
The "bug" Deej said the weapon had
The micro progression yet to come
This Curse of Dawning that was set up to be a cash grab by putting everything behind a paywall with it being impossible to grind for just a quarter of the Dawning was Bungie spitting in the players face. Knowing only one character can collect the loot ones a week and that is only 3 free loot boxes that are not the top loot from Dawning. It can cost around 32,900 bright dust just for one top item with the RNG in this system and they only give 7 bright dust for dismantling things like shaders???
When gamers buy bright engrams from eververse or grind for the engrams and don't get what they are looking for they end up dismantling it for bright dust. With the RNG in this game using that bright dust it actually can take a lot more then 32,900 looking for one top item for some gamers and if you are looking for the top items for all 3 characters. How much do you think that can run up to without spending real money? I could have said 50,000 and it wouldn't change anything I said because of the RNG in this game knowing it's set in 100% in favor of eververse.
Just because some of you on this forum had luck with the RNG, it doesn't mean every single person on this entire forum or the game for that matter had that same luck. Please use common sense before making a reply about the Bright dust.
The round about numbers behind this cash grab
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3qnr35_sZw
Is that supposed to be an inside joke for Bungie? Gamers only have 3 weeks for an event that if you delete any of it, it's gone forever. But hey! you can re-buy it if you accidentally delete it. See, we listen... Show me where the "Bug" is in this event, where the "mistakes" are that they made in this event or my personal favorite that I'm waiting to hear "it's not working as intended Lie"?
Dawning was supposed to be about showing respect and appreciation to your player base. Not pop out an event around Xmas and say, to the season to be greedy. Thanks guys, merry Xmas...
Hiding info on DT because how the player base is plummeting and calling the player base a liar when Bungie provided the info.
Blocking refunds
Not addressing the issues at hand that Luke smith "claimed" they would be looking into it that are still an issue before all the above statements that have taken place.
Then on top of all that, you take the feedback about grinding and triple the grind for normal loot in this game?

What happened to "we created a system that will allow us to create content much easier" knowing how much this expansion is majorly lacking like TDB and that was how many years ago?
What, all the events in D1 like festival of cost
Redbull
Refer a friend
Boost packs
Rockstar
PoP-Tarts
etc......... wasn't enough money to fund creating a decent expansion with this "easy" way to create content, that they needed to add this (Curse of Dawning) around Xmas and split on vacation to use that as an excuse to take advantage of new gamers especially kids and teens that don't know any better?
Bungie is not going to look into fixing much of anything knowing nothing is broken or has a "bug" in this list..
• Eververse
• Mayhem
• Vault Space
• Endgame - Strikes, Raids, Item Collection
• Crucible - Gametypes, Team sizes
• Sandbox Balancing - Exotics weapons and armor
• Three of Coins
• Curse of Osiris: Weapons Forge Questing
• Masterworks and Weapon/Armor Modifications
Everything is working how you planed it Bungie and what have you done so far other then ride the cash grab out? Even EA had the common sense to show some respect and take action right off the bat.
What are your plans to at least try to make up for the disrespect you have shown to your loyal fans?

8 RepliesNot even blaming the OP here but so many of these replies are the exact same people saying the exact same thing all the time. It's basically spam If something is wrong, or a lot is wrong, or everything is wrong, then there's no excuse for wasting time saying the same thing. It makes the criticism look dumb. Talk about the different myriad things wrong with the game then, they should be different topics. If something is super wrong, let's say like Eververse, all anyone needs is one thread on it, with say one hundred million replies. Not one hundred million different threads that say the same damn thing. As someone who generally likes D2, I still try to post different feedback on what I either like or don't like about it. I sure fail sometimes at that, but I'm not doing my version of a copy paste daily here. I posted up about how I think Trials is awful. But even that apparently gets no replies because it isn't, what, yet another Eververse thread? If you don't like Destiny 2, do you really only want Bungie to fix one thing? Or do you want them to fix a whole lot of things?
-
2 Replies3+ years? I have been a Bungie fan since Oni came out on the PS2. Never in the 17 years of following this company have I ever seen it this low with it's own fanbase. This is a company that for a decade with Halo was an active participant with the community itself. I remember Bungie Day and how you had a shot of playing against devs - so much fun. Now, all we get is some vlog on what their office is like as though we should be impressed that they get custom latte's on the ground floor or whatever...this company has fallen so far...
-
28 RepliesI'm real interested on what they are going to say on the 11th. Is Bungie going to come clean or are they going to keep heading in the same direction?
-
Edited by Eu4ia15: 1/8/2018 5:49:18 AMAgree fully with your thread , most likely they will expect us to wait until the yr2 Sept update for a fix to there mistakes I won't be paying for a fix that never should have needed a fix in the first place Better be fixed in April update or dlc2 is the last bungie anything I will play

Great post. Couldn't have gathered all the relevant info. But that's pretty much exactly how I feel regards bungie and how bungie feel about us.

Well said.

Well put, I 100% agree with everything you say.

1 ReplyBungie is going to use colourful language to say nothing appease the stupid. They will then double down on this ‘lootbox’ craze before it gets outlawed. Why dedicate effort and creativity towards a project when you can just create a glorified slot machine? There are a lot of problems with this game, but none are worth addressing until the management and “decision makers” change their direction. So many of the decisions made from D1 to D2 were detrimental. It is glaringly obvious that strike modifiers and scoring should have carried over. This is just one of the many deliberate redactions from Bungie so they can sell it back to us later... it’s kinda become their calling card
-
8 RepliesThe absolute best outcome here is that bungie implodes, that way they can at least serve as an example to other devs not to screw their customers. There is no hope for destiny to return to its former glory, it is over. You would never be able to trust them again, anyway. I have accepted that destiny is over. And really, don’t all games end sooner or later? I watch now because the outcome here will affect the video game industry for years to come. For better or worse.

1 ReplyEdited by AngryTormentor: 1/8/2018 9:44:53 PMThe Dawning was a great representation of Bungie's attitude not only towards it's own audience but of just how tone deaf they are to events outside of their own bubble. Microtransactions, and the controversy surrounding them, are being covered by the gaming media at the moment with possible legislation from politicans coming into play. So what do Bungie do? Build an entire f--king event around them. That's not inviting trouble at all. I just find it laughable that Bungie didn't expect this reaction. That someone working for them didn't say 'maybe we shouldn't do this with what's happening with BF2 at the moment.'

BUMP!!

1 ReplyWell said only thing you left out is activisions track record every single time they get involved with a franchise they kill it by milking it to death and providing little expansion content . Bungie got rid of anyone with a hint of an original idea for people who could sneak micro transactions into games look into their hiring ads you’ll see. Again thank you well said

1 ReplyWell said.

2 RepliesI already left, I just come here because I hope the community either keeps grilling BungieVision to the point that they either pull a 180 or they find themselves with no customers still willing to buy their products. That and it's like watching a train wreck.
-
I think they should just sell to Disney and get it over with. The whole thing is about as Mickey Mouse as any princess movie. It's disturbing the level of swooning these charecters do too. Get a room. "Guardian, you're the best thing in the universe and I think I love you. How can I repay you for being ever so awesome and extremely cooler than anyone ever?" etc.. Geesh.

6 RepliesAsk XBox/Halo fans how Bungie rewards loyalty and cares about their core supporters.

1 ReplyOh the night Destiny's community died, is a night I'll never forget. Some of the boys got loaded drunk and they ain't got sober yet. As long as the question was dodged around, every gamer was feeling frayed. Then Bungie esentially said "hey just go find another game to play!" Yeah, that's how they show their respect for Destiny's community. That's how they show their honor and their pride! Their policies are sin and shame, as they wink at one another. And every gamer was sick of Bungie's shit the night Destiny's community died!

F this game I regret buying the session pass should have gone back to cod and GTA They made a good start but f'd up on the dlc. They think we are stupid we won't realise that mercury is a small map making us unable to ride the sparrow with limited public event
-
38 RepliesYou're neither a fan or a player. You don't play this game, have no original experience to base an opinion on let alone a complaint. Years of my life wasted on reading people's "feedback"....of other people's videos because they wouldn't have an opinion of their own because they don't even play this game.
-
Everything is working just as they intended it to. Sad to think, but they wanted it this way.

1 ReplyI mean cozblow is back, we the community got that going for us..... 🤣😂😜😋

We created a system that will allow us to create content much easier
Does everyone miss what is blatantly in their face? The Eververse focus IS the system at which they can create content more quickly! The Eververse lets them create content (cosmetics/bright engram SYSTEM) more quickly all the while earning the contractual revenue they need to with Activision. The system they are talking about is the bright engram system tied to the Eververse. It is plain as day.
