If you can get dark souls 3 maybe get one that comes with a free copy of dark souls 1? Dark souls 1 is definitely a game still very worthy of your time. Not to mention if you can play Dark souls 1 I think 3 would be a bit easier. Just how I feel because dk3 movement is faster than 1.

Have you by chance played the Witcher 3 on Death March? If so, in terms of speed/mobility how does DS3/DS1 measure up?

I couldn't tell you honestly. I asked my cousin and he said the speed of witcher is kinda like batman. So in that case I'd say Dark souls 1 is a bit slower. Dark souls combat your using your shield a lot of the time, depending on your build at least. So because of that it's a lot of timing I'd say. You're mobility depends on your build also, but dark souls 1 is kinda slow though because of age. Dark souls 3 I'd say is a bit faster paced than Dark souls 1. Mainly cause as long as you're under 70% equip load you can roll really fast. It still comes down to timing though with your parrying.
