Never played a soulsborn game before.
What are the major differences and which do you recommend?

1 ReplyOne thing i would suggest when you play is..... drop the shield and have a spell or parry tool maybe even just go with a greatsword and dagger just have fun and don't hide behind a shield took me awhile to drop it but when i did my gameplay experience went from why do people play this to why doesn't everybody play this

Dark souls 1 is definitely a game still very worthy of your time. Not to mention if you can play Dark souls 1 I think 3 would be a bit easier. Just how I feel because dk3 movement is faster than 1.

2 RepliesStart with Bloodborne because it teaches you how to play correctly. If you spend your time in Dark Souls hiding behind a shield your whole playthrough, you'll tend to think "when can this just end?". Bloodborne teaches you to not just survive, but to have fun while you survive, creating a "alright let's throw down bro!" mentality. However, don't get too greedy or take too many unnecessary risks. I said don't hide behind the shield, but don't disregard it.

DS3 felt like it had more build variety to me and both have a faster combat pace in a way. Tbh you can't really go wrong with either they're both good guess it just depends on what style you want. Fantasy:DS3 Horror/steampunk:Bloodbourne
