Hand Cannon/Shotgun Meta was the best. So aggressive and fast. I miss them days

The garbage CoD meta? No thanks.
The garbage CoD meta? No thanks.
I don't understand how HC/Shotguns = CoD but if labeling it that somehow makes you feel better about being bad at it... Be my guest.

Because everything was so OP the game's general TTK was so low that skill difference was sharply diminished. Getting lucky plays with your broken gun could win you the fight alone.

I would argue that the low ttk actually created a larger skill gap. It allowed a player to be aggressive towards multiple enemies and create some amazing plays. All in all its just what I personally enjoyed the best. It was just so in your face and fast paced. Now this game is just play the radar and camp corners at all ranges, there aren't any weapons that allow you to be a threat towards encamped groups of players. Like I said man, that's just me.

Being aggressive toward multiple enemies where nearly everything one shots regardless amplifies luck, not skill. Skill difference is only reasonably measurable in 1v1 standards for that matter anyway. The more complex a situation the less you can accurately account for luck.

Holy crap! A smart person on the Destiny Forums!? Get out of here Gecko before you become more dumb staying here.

I know right, I actually miss year 1 pvp.

I preferred the auto rifle meta, personally. Shotguns were fine, though, but couldn't stand hand cannon meta.
