The campiest game ever
Lol I hate how the crucible is nothing but a bunch of shitty players(I'm by no means good, but these players....) camping with multiple snipers and pulse rifles teamshotting everybody they see.
I just played a game where an entire team was camping middle room on black shield, and bagging or waving whenever they teamshot me to death. This is way too common.
The funny thing was, these chumps sucked so bad that whenever they were out and alone I was able to cross the open areas of the map(without skating) and shotgun them to death while they sprayed bullets at me.
The worst part is, 9/10 times its these campy shit players who can't kill anything in a 1v1 situation that come to the forums and brag about their kd when all they do is teamshot in fireteams.
Anyways solo gaurdian rant over lol.

5 RepliesMy friend and I came up with an idea for a way to get rid of camping in PvP game modes. Make it so that the longer you stay stationary, the more weight your character gains, and also make it so that sprint duration steadily degrades the longer you stand around. I think that your character getting obese and losing reaction and sprint ability would stop a lot of people from camping

The thing that pisses me off the most is when you have a couple great matches, and then the next thing you know you're on the worst teams FOREVER or you're dropped into matches wayy late...and the team is down by like 8000 points. I am in no means great at crucible but cmon

1 ReplyThat's why I run grenades that push the enemy out of position. For example many people run fusion grenades, these are shit players trying to get a free kill by throwing a grenade before they die. I choose to run solar flare style grenades on warlock and smoke on hunter because you can push them off their points. For example. They are behind cover, throw the grenade or smoke to the right or left of them then when then run the opposite way you wreck them.

My teammates were pretty bad at getting them out as they were camping the doors. They tried going in individually at first and when that didn't work they tried going in as a team but nothing was working. I didn't go into the room with them those few times because I knew what the enemy team was doing. After every kill they would dance, wave and taunt my teammates. 3 or 4 kills later... So the next time my teammates spawned I follow behind them as they race towards the room. As they went in I could see the enemy team swarm the door they went into, so I change course and go through the entrance by capture flag, shotgun ready. Only 1 enemy crouched atop the platform in the middle notices me enter as his teammates are busy trading fire with mine. I rush, slaughtering him before he has a chance to react then quickly turn my attention to his friends, at this point they take notice of me but are busy trading fire with my teammates, guardian down, one of my teammates dies. I seize the opportunity and rush both of them at the door by B flag. I focus on the one who just finished killing my teammate and he begins shooting at me. All he can do is stare into the cold dead barrel of my party crasher as I pull the trigger. 2 down 1 to go. The last guy gets the kill on my second teammate, twitches towards me and begins firing wildly. I walk towards his already damaged body, his bullets barely scratching me as my health had regenerated. Unfazed by his pathetic attempts to subdue me I inch closer, weapon ready. He begins to panic and backup for cover as he realizes his fate has already been sealed, I wave right before I slide in for the kill. 3 for 3. My teammates now join me back in the room, dancing and waving back at the enemy team. Needless to say, they didn't get the room back for the rest of that game.

People camping? Don't go where they can see you. Like, go find a room they have no sight on and just sit or dance. They'll eventually get nervous or antsy and go try to find someone to kill. Also, getting upset over being team shot is the stupidest thing. "How dare they work together to ensure an easy kill while I run around alone, ignoring that I have a team?"

You should have switched to a sniper or NLB so you don't lose your ammo. Camping middle room is a great tactic that works extremely well but it's not unbeatable, especially if they are using snipers. Stay off radar, wait for your team to push and push the flank is probably the best bet. It's annoying when you have a bad team though so I feel for you. Just keep your KD high and take the lose if your team is that bad.

3 RepliesI played rift the other day right. This team we played against never went for the spark. Two kids had badgers and sat in the back of the map. The other four were sniping. Let's just say, we lost because we couldn't get anywhere without getting rekt by three shot scouts from 5 miles away. The fact that this even happened is sad enough as it is, but it shows how low people will go to win a game that should be about fun, not their little k/d. Like you said, 1v1 these kids are trash and they know it....so they resort to this tactic, it's just frustrating to see a game that was once so intense become so slow and campy.
