While I don't think that sunsingers should be nerfed in any way, the fact that their grenade is not a one-shot probably puts a lot on their assist stat, so the KD thing might not be the best argument.

I agree with you. That's just purely based on the precedent set by Bungie when they gave the reason for nerfing the sunbreaker.
