Crutch is anything the makes a mediocre player better than what they are and without it are well, mediocre. In my opinion an example of this is using sunsinger in trials. Using sunsinger in trials makes the game ode much easier than if you're using any other super. I think that's really the only crutch in this game right now however. An argument could be made for the arch warlock melee as well. That thing can hit from a mile away. Or possibly shoulder charge on titans. It does take a reasonable amount of skill to learn how to use the Melees however.

  • Every class has good and bad things about them. What I'm saying is that we don't need to kill them just because they are inherently good. If something is too good, maybe buff other classes in different ways to even things out. The answer shouldn't always (as it has been) to nerf it to the ground.

  • I agree but self res shouldn't have a place in a game mode like trials. I also don't think there is a place for DOT at all in multiplayer which would take away the burn on firebolts obviously. This is all my opinion but I just think that is the only thing that can make a mediocre player much better than what they are in the game. Sure every class has some good things but nothing other than sunsinger can make a mediocre player better than what they actually are but only in the trials game mode

  • Self res is the worst super in trials, sniper headshot, shotgun melee, invective, 4th horseman, 2 guardians with primaries, smoke nade + vortex with primary fire, FOH, GG, AB, NB, SS, supressor nade, tripmine + primary fire, double lightning nades, and so many other counters to it. what makes these counters easy is the fact you know exactly where they are, and they cannot move or evade your attacks for a good 1-2 seconds which is plenty of time to be downed again. sometimes people even get to down multiple self resses with a single FOH or GG depending on how close together they died.
