Well, I agree if kill times become too long and people can just run away and not die and stuff like that, it's lame.
I guess I'm just wishing for that ideal sweet spot where the balance is perfect and kills are reasonable, an instant one hit kill is possible but takes a good amount of skill, and because it's reasonably balanced the most skilled players get rewarded for developing their skill as opposed to everyone using an instant kill technique where it boils down to who shoots first wins
