Based on the fact science proves things on earth and that the Bible contradicts those Laws and Theories (which are not just hypothesis) it is logical to doubt everything within religion. Thats the jist of it. Edit: Your trying to doubt science with the Bible and it doesn't work that way.

  • The Bible has many theory's and happenings that are proven in this time. But scientist choose to discard them, and support the idea of evolution.

  • Show me one scientific theory from the bible, that was proven in the bible.

  • The Bible speaks of God consuming the Egyptians being swallowed up in the Red Sea. If you go there, you find Egyptian chariots and horses. Another, is on the day a battle, Joshua asked the Lord that he would make the day longer, that they would have victory. The Lord made the sun stay in place for a day. Science has proven that in the records, there is a day missing from the time table from where the sun should be.

  • I'm the dumb one? Im pretty sure the sun doesn't say completely still for a whole day.

  • Not completely. But to suggest that an endless day is caused by holding the sun still is idiotic. The earth rotates, meaning where the sun is does not matter but what it shines on. Dumb-blam!-

    1) those aren't scientific theories 2) chariots and horses can easily be cargo for ships going across the narrow red sea. 3) a missing day In a calendar doesn't mean the sun stood still. To even say the sun stood still is entirely wrong and shows no comprehension to the fact that THE DAYS ARE CAUSED BY THE -blam!-ING ROTATION OF THE EARTH. Please tell me you arent serious? Please?

  • Lol... I know you are not the sharpest crayon in the box, but Egyptians had no ship stock. They got all they needed from the area, and the Nile River.

So the Egyptians never sailed anywhere on any boats of any kind? I know you're not much for reading about actual history.

  • They sailed and fished and stuff... But they had no reason to sail across seas.

  • Lol then show me how you're not wrong.
Also I call bullshit on your doctorate. Nobody with a doctorate is going to defend the sun standing still to make the days longer.
• No I'm very open minded. I'll believe anything IF there is evidence to support it. But the more supernatural or grand the claim, the better the evidence better be.

  • So if you NEED evidence, how do you believe evolution?

  • You mean... Based on the evidence that was collected trillions of years ago? How did you mange to pull that one off?

Trillions of years? 1) earth is only about 4.5 billion years old. 2) creationists typically maintain earth is about 6000ish years old. So, you're contradicting your own belief here. 3) the evidence has been being collected for a few hundred years and continues to be gathered to this day, only building the evidence for evolution even more.

  • I don't think the earth is trillions old... I was just stooping down to your level to talk. How can you gather information a hundred years ago, for something that you think happend 4 million years ago!?

We have fossils, and we can date the age of these fossils. Also, we continue to this day to find more examples of evolution happening around us, as well as more and more fossils so we keep slowly adding to the fossil record. However, a lack of transitional fossils for some species isn't evidence against evolution. The conditions required for fossilization aren't common, and some forms of life simply don't fossilize well. There's also, genetics, the common chemical makeup of all life, and homologous structures in animals.
