If you drop Crota 3x per sword after the first sword you have 12 hits on him, then you are almost guaranteed the kill on the second

I think you misunderstood. I go for 3 hits first drop then 4 the second. I've been squeezing in that extra hit because lots of people have advised me too. Getting 6 hits per sword 12 in the first 2 is cake. My question is, why is there an emphasis to get a 7 hitter in? Ending the first 2 swords with 13 hits.

If you are 100% confident that you will land every hit go for 3 each time go for it. I once did 5 hits the first two times we dropped him with the same sword then another 3 before the sword ran out. Easiest two sword kill I have ever done
