Thanks for the ADVICE! Goodbye to my Young Girlfriend!!
So, I am back.. As you may have read about my situation already about having to make a decision between Gaming and my Girlfriend... To refresh your memory or if you may not know yet, I had to make a decision to either be with my girlfriend or stop grinding Destiny (Full story here http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/93198637/0/0)
Today I decided to let her leave my house as I couldn't take drama any more, she asks me to cut back time on Destiny which I feel I'll be losing out... I work full time and use all my time to play because just like everybody else I want Icebreakers, MIDA Tools and Fatebringers!
So to me it seemed selfish of her to ask me to stop playing so much to spend time with her.... As I work hard at work everyday and bring home money, rent and putting food on the table she should show a little more respect and gratitude towards me. It seems as if she takes me for granted and wants more and more from me. So I've decided to let her go because no way in hell would I give up my gaming for her.. Ungrateful woman I must say but anyway I do want to thank you people for all the advice on my other thread! It really helped.
Good riddance to her.

5 RespostasI love my fiancé. She has put up with over 700 hours of Destiny. :) she loves and supports me through my struggles, however dumb they may seem. And I love her through her binge watching stupid series' like The Borgias. If she couldn't handle who I was, and my need to conquer everything, including this dumb game, then she wouldn't be for me. As long as she is first and all bills are paid, we respect eachothers hobbies/additions and that's how it should be! :) enjoy the freedom OP. For now anyway. ;) lol

I don't blame individual women, but what society expects out of men now a days is just over the top. A guy is suppose to be gentle, but able to scare off attackers. He is suppose to be successful, but not take work serious. He can't go out with his friends every weekend, but having a solo hobby (gaming, working on cars, playing guitar, ect ect) is frowned upon too.

Minimize negative interaction with other creatures. Then you sleep. If you sleep a lot - or less for that matter - a good bed never hurts. It sounds like OPs girlfriend was extremely selfish and wanted him to partake with her in her hobbies but she didn't want him to do anything that he wanted to do. He also supported her financially and she still was not grateful for that. She was just a toxic person who he is better off without, if she was a quality gf she would support him and be understanding of him. A lot of people here think it's the hardest thing in the world to get a gf too. All you need to get a gf is a decent looking face and the ability to hold a conversation.
