Why should I get nothing when i go 20-5 but the bottom people on the team that went 2-10 get rare items (2each)?? This has gott stop...
Suggestion: people who do better in matches should have a higher chance of getting loot, and if you perform poorly, a lower chance. You still get loot, but It gives an incentive to get better at the game.

And this is why you don't go loot farming on the Crucible.
-
You just aren't making enough blood sacrifices to the RNG gods. Damn heretic.

1 ResponderThe best way to do it is to reward the players that do consistently good with some blue enegrams in game maybe after three good kd and high scoring games(must complete the full game match). The consistently bad or average players will receive blue enegrams via the mail system for good sportsmanship if they stay in the game till the end and get a score at least past a thousand(so afk get nothing).

I suppose random is fair, but in truth, when a person who makes a .28 K/D on TDM gets an exotic when he clearly was not trying (not to mention on some matches the guy just stayed in the same spot occasionally moving the character every few minutes) ends up getting an exotic rifle and a legendary engram later, its a bit (very) aggravating. I think everyone was glaring at him, and a few people on the mic's on my team began yelling and screaming bullshit at him and to get off. Can't blame them really.I wish skill was involved in the drops and performance, at least a little bit somehow.
-
To be fair if this is the case then am all for it!! With a good setup(which most high level players have got) your almost guaranteed a win in PvP matches. If giving rare stuff to lower level players helps then so be it!!

2 RespostasIt's done randomly for a reason jackass

3 RespostasThia complaining about rng has got to stop.

Frankly, since most things are team based, the winning team should get the spoils, rather then having everyone with seperate scores etc...
-
Editado por Ignis: 9/14/2014 8:22:11 PMWinning gives you more reputation and marks, so just keep winning until you can just buy the legendaries you want. Thats better anyway since it takes out the chance in engrams.
-
I got my legendary pistil by being first on the loosing side. I've also gotten rares being top half of winning, and bottom half losing. I think the word you're looking for is random.

To the people in this thread, that say "the rich get richer", the crucible doesn't work like that. All the gear and whatnot that you get is auto-adjusted to fit with other players. Just cause you're a 20 and you got a good chest plate doesn't mean its gonna help, as I proved last night to my friend when I screwed around. I put the beginning assault rifle (khovgestein- I I can't pronounce nor remember it, but you know what it is) and equipped that level 1 weapon to my level 21 warlock. I laughed maniacally as I gunned down all levels with that starting weapon. The only thing that possibly matters with armor and weapons is the abilities on them. And only if they fit your playstyle, or you change to better utilize those abiliites.
-
No. The rich getting richer concept is a shitty one and should stop existing. At least in instances where it's player versus player. It actually does the opposite of what you suggest. Instead of teaching or demanding players to become better it forces them to undercut and do things cheaply. Imagine if sitting on flags with a shotgun netted you a high K/D and getting high K/D's promised exotics? It just makes things worse. it's why cod still tries other methods besides highly lethal stackable streaks. MW2 was a huge eye opener on what shouldn't happen. I think everyone should have an equal chance. Sure some might see that as an okay sign to afk. But most don't have that kind of patience and might actually try to play.
-
And all these people talking about how they got exotics from the crucible make me cry I haven't even gotten anything like that I'm going to go re-enact Amanda Todd
-
Don't worry I went like that for at least 6 matches and then...got my rare :)
-
39 RespostasI mean, I was playing earlier today and I F'N SUCK! THe top guy got an Exotic weapon while I got nothing.....this is a stupid forum, go cry to your parents next time you dont get something you want because someone else did

I have to be honest here, I have never really been good at shooting games on console, and for that reason I haven't played them much. Destiny however is a really great game in my opinion, love the pve aspect but I also want to get better at pvp. I've ranged from bottom (mostly) to middle, and all the games (and I mean all) the top 2 have gotten items, so until recently where I found out it was random, I was in the belief that the top players earned loot. You have just been unlucky not getting any loot as the good player, as I have been unlucky not getting loot as the bad player. But if you really wanted loot why not get it from strike playbills where you are guaranteed gear?
-
I completely agree. In one situation I went 22 kills to like 3 deaths. Jack shit. Kid who just joined game gets legendary chest armor and a mote of light. Also I was lucky to unintentionally exploit this. Joined at game right at the end and only got a few kills then happened to receive a rare engram. Not much, but was pretty lucky because I just joined the game. But I simply didn't deserve it.

1 ResponderYou got more glimmer than everyone:)

You sound like a sooky kid

It's literally happened to me 4 matches in a row and my friend got something everytime when every damn game I carry my whole team of dumbasses honestly Bungie needs to fix this because there "random" system is bull now my friend has a exotic and two legendaries and was lvl21 before when I was and still am lvl24 when I'm better Bungie at least needs to reward the top players with more XP and Rank points/marks if not make our chances at loot better
-
They say its "random" but it doesn't seem that way.
-
7 RespostasJust do what I started doing, nothing. Just get a few kills then sit back and relax. The gear will come pouring in because the game rewards players who can't play and are terrible. All the good players are shunned because doing good is frowned upon. Welcome to Destiny, Guardian. Where nothing is fair and your worth is that of a rotten apple at a granny smith packing facility.
-
7 RespostasRandom is fair, otherwise the "better" players would continue to get stronger resulting in an uneven playing field
-
Editado por Failure4Life: 9/14/2014 8:36:00 AMI do pretty well in most games and I see people on the lower end of the score board get better items than me. It's annoying, especially when I carry a game but it's the only fair way to do it. The game would just be people getting steamrolled in both PvP and PvE if I was collecting the legendary engrams every game like you want me to.
