Xbox One controller update question.
Do I need to get the play and charge kit to upgrade it? Seems like a load of crap it doesn't come with a USB so you could upgrade the controller.

3 Respostasno. you simply need a USB 3.0 A to B male-male cable of sufficient length to sit back with. however, if you do not have a play and charge kit, you need to get one because it has the best quality rechargable battery on the market for Xbone. the only Lithium Ion battery versus Nihm and Ni-Cad batteries. Li-I lasts for more charge cycles and with greater capacity per cycle than nickle based batteries of equivalent size and voltage.

The headset adapter comes with a USB to update but the cable is short and useless for playing with. The updates are for the headset adapter. I'm also pretty excited for ultimate evil edition, I really only play hardcore on D3 though but add me GT: o Science o

All you need to update a controller in a USB to Micro USB cable. Although, I'm fairly sure all the updates are for headsets at the moment, and most of those seem to come with the cable you'll need.
