That gives you about 8 or 9 months to acknowledge Xbox fans in some way. I know you're being paid to love on the Playstation brand, and that's great because it's expanding the Bungie community to a whole new audience and that's exciting for you guys, we're happy to see you achieve more success. But you don't call or text us anymore, you don't even mention us anymore, y'know they even released a new Xbox, I feel like you've forgotten we exist.
- Sincerely, an Xbox owner that has bought and obsessed over every single one of your games and help catapult you to success.

I'm an Xbox owner and I know it kinda seems like their cheating on us with PlayStation but PlayStation never got to experience the amazing halo series. I think what they're doing is fair

It's fair only because Microsoft payed them to make Halo exclusive to Xbox, and now Sony is paying them to make this exclusive to Playstation. That doesn't ACTUALLY make it fair to the gamers that want to play it either way.

Bungie is a company that gives what gamers wants, and is 100% willing to stand up for and deliver exactly that. I was a huge xbox fan until they released the "One". Not only did microsoft screw gamers right over with their original launch ideas.... But they also put their company first. Bungie puts gamers first. Playstation puts gamers first. It only makes sense that they stay together. I can only imagine the things they could achieve together. Personally after being bent over by the one without the decency to even spit... I'm glad I change to ps4. Hahaha.

Editado por Shadow Artiste: 12/21/2013 4:58:07 AMPlaystation puts gamers first. Sorry mate, both Sony and Microsoft are after your dollars. Sony researched and patented equally intrusive DRM and they pioneered the rootkit debarkle that legally violated consumer's rights and got sued over it. They lied about it too. Don't fool yourself mate. And besides, I'm not takling about Bungie supporting Microsoft or Bungie supporting Sony, I'm takling about Bungie supporting fans, I don't give a hoot about Microsoft or Sony's feelings. This is about me pouring a decade of support and money into Bungie and feeling a little pushed aside, it's got nothing to do with how gamer-friendly the two big console manufacturers are. And Bungie didn't make an exclusivity deal with Sony because Sony loves gamers and Jack Trenton goes to sleep at night and kisses a photo of you and then has dreams about ways to please your gaming needs. The deal with Sony was made over cold hard cash, most probably entirely brokered by Activision. And that's the main issue, I feel like my fandom takes second place to business. I understand from a professional point of view, Bungie is towing Activision's line and throwing the support to Sony, but it doesn't mean they cannot acknowledge the millions of fans that bought millions of Halo games over the years. They are not contractually obligated to avoid giving us a shout out every now and then to remind us they still care.

Microsoft's original launch ideas were actually good, but marketed poorly and at a bad time. The initial plan was to turn the xbox into a Microsoft Steam system. Everyone loves Steam, and everyone who had an xbox loved their xbox. But telling players that buying a physical disk is just a download code basically, was not a smart choice by executives. But either way, the poorly executed idea was still a good one, especially now days where downloading games is all-the-rage.

I must admit... I'm a little butt hurt also. I have bought every special edition halo game since halo 2. I think we have a chicken versus the egg situation. Did xbox lead to Bungie's success or did Bungie lead to Xbox's success? I'm sure Bungie feels the latter. Maybe they know something we don't about the PS4 and XboxOne? I just hope the bad blood between Bungie and Microsoft doesn't lead to them dissing the XboxOne version of the game.

I think it was a very mutual benefit at the beginning. By all accounts Bungie were in a tough position when Microsoft bought them and bailed them out as a result of a game they shipped having a bug that deleted people's hard drives. Some say Bungie would have went under if they weren't bailed out at that point. Bungie went on to then define the xbox with Halo 1, creating an absolute system seller. Then Bungie went on to define online console gaming with Halo 2. So I think it's a case of both. I don't think Bungie would be where they are today without Microsoft and I don't think the Xbox would be where it is without Bungie. I was super happy when Bungie bought their independence back from Microsoft because it allowed them to go multi-platform. I'm not sure if Bungie has a beef with Microsoft, and that's none of my business anyway. The thing to remember is that we, the fans, aren't Microsoft, they're beef isn't with us. So I hope they don't shaft us by association. I've poured over a decade of my heart and soul into following this company and I don't want to be treated as a second rate fan because of something I didn't do. I'm not asking for our coats to be stroked, just a simple acknowledgement of our existence or even a quick wave in between fulfilling their contractual obligation to focus on the Playstation brand. Starting to feel like the ignored step-child.
