It's just an exaggeration. People use them all the time. What he was saying is that after Halo, shooters became a very console-oriented genre, and eventually became more popular than FPS on the PC.
Why are you so offended? Jason Jones didn't personally insult you or your family, he was just talking about video games.

Editado por Pfhunkie: 2/18/2013 7:33:03 AMThe PC FPS community is like a family to me. Games such as Quake, Unreal Tournament, Counter-Strike, Tribes, Team Fortress and PlanetSide are like family to me. That's why I'm slightly offended by him saying no one wants that. I, and many others, most certainly do.

You're being too sensitive. He's allowed to have an opinion, just as you are too. You can disagree with someone without being offended. I'm confident that you could tell JJ that you disagree with his statement without him getting too worked up over someone making a claim he doesn't support.

He said it factually; not as an opinion.

That's your opinion.

I think you need to look up the definition of opinion/fact. When he said "Cause nobody wants to play it", that's given as a factual statement. If he would have said "I don't think anyone wants to play it that way anymore" it would have been given as an opinion.

That is the literal and straight forward definition, sure. You are putting way too much value on his words. If you have an issue, then simply disagree and carry on. What did you want? An apology? An official statement, outlining the continuance of keyboard and mouse FPS play? It just seems like you want to just complain.
