Please remove 30 sec respawn timer.
The 30 second respawn timer is just bad, especially if you have a few people die at the same time. It takes too long to get back into the game. Players don't go out of their way to get the revive, I've have people right next to me not get my revive and run off. This is supposed to be a fun event but the timer is pointless. You could just remove the limited revives so we dont need the extra time to get revives. Also the softlock still sucks.

Bungie just loves it's revive tokens and timers, shame they never listen when repeatedly told we don't want them. I had a softlock at the boss last night as a 2 man team in the activity so we ran up to the boss and emoted till we got stomped. The other players eventually caught on that we should wipe but it was funny watching the attempted revives get launched lol.

1 ResponderPlaying the Haunted Altars of Sorrow, the looooonnnnnnggggg respawn time is just stupid. IT IS NOT FUN. Bungie, this kind of thing is part of why you are losing players. There are several mobs that can freeze lock you (also NOT FUN), and then you die. Its pretty much guaranteed you are going to die, and then you have to wait 30 seconds to respawn? NOT FUN. I just rage quit a Haunted Altars because there were 5! of us dead at the same spot, because some poor shmuck decided to rez me, and died, then another, etc, etc. NOT FUN BUNGIE. WTF Getting chain frozen is not fun, then a 30 second rez for something a player cant really control SUCKS. These events are supposed to be fun. The first few days were actually pretty good, with a 5 second rez. Getting chain frozen still SUCKED, but at least it was a short wait to get back into the fight. Destiny used to be fun for casual players.

Seriously stupid decision on Bungie’s part. Tried to do a solo op and had to quit after being unable to bear the stupidly long wait times to respawn. Not sure who thought that was a good idea over at Bungie but it would help explain why nobody plays this game anymore…

2 Respostassometimes when I do the matched made haunted alters of sorrow I get 20 revives and a 6 second timer... other times I get 6 revives and a 30 second timer 🤷♂️ what is happening.

Terrible teammates will exist everywhere. Nothing you can do about that besides make your own group. Which is definitely not always practical. The revives just exist to make it possible to even fail the activity. It’s not like the time will do it. I’m not sure I have ever even been under 1 minute. The activity running like a slideshow has no excuse though.

I just there was more Respawning Restricted Areas like D1 nightfalls, there was no "respawning on your own" There was get respawned by a teammate or be dead.

1 ResponderWell if each person is given 6 revives but no one revives you you still have 6...so there's a trade off and somewhat an incentive to NOT revive others... Then some games do the shared 20 max revives, so it doesn't matter how as it always deducts from the total; it's truly random.... Personally, I think the 10 sec "waiting to revive" or however long that one last would be better.
