These changes we mostly all requested by the community and have been requested for years and we finally got them. People like the grind of destiny 2 so they gave people thing to grind for people like the grind so much they got rid of weapon crafting so you could grind more.

They got rid of "big number bigger" because the community hated it, they brought it back because a [i]few[/i] didn't realize it was pointless since you're capped. They got rid of normal activities like regular strikes, flashpoint/patrol, and heroic adventures because they were fun, didn't require specific loadouts, and didn't have to watch a video to play; they made everything "master/grandmaster" because a [i]few[/i] thought those normal activities were too easy. They got rid of team deathmatch because a [i]few[/i] thought it was boring, now pvp has objectives on nearly all pvp game modes. The data makes it [b]abundantly[/b] clear the community liked normal, casual fun as evidenced by popularity of "normal" activities, now a [i]few[/i] have their dream grind with most meaningful "progression" gated to "hard" content.

Objectively false, not a single person requested bungie to add weapon teirs that make all their old gear obsolete. Not a single person requested the armor stat rework that killed everyones set ups, and hard nerfed everyone. Not a single person requested to play metroid prime in this game. Not a single person requested bungie to remove vendor engrams/rank rewards. Not a single person requested bungie to implement a hard damage nerf to anything not from the current season, both exotic and legendary. Not a single person requested a modifer be implemented into every activity that prevents you from using any non current/featured exotic weapon or armor. Not a single person requested the negative power deltas be added back into all raids/dungeons, further proved by bungie walking back that change in the most recent twid. Not a single person asked to be made weaker
