Little buddy, this is a looter shooter. The game design is chasing loot. Weird mix of stupidity and ego there, sport.

Bet the SG is meta in melee builds. AR is great in PVP 6s. RL is great in damage phases. I’m not going to go through every weapon but they’re not bad at all. Keep in mind a lot of players have holes they’re trying to fill.

The SG is already not meta because it is manual reloads and slow fire rate. There are better melee build shotguns in both slots that are already easier to obtain because they automatically reload and don’t require much grinding. AR has nothing that is already available in other 450s, including its older variant. RL is worse than an option available to over 50% of the player base, and provides nothing of value over the Strand world drop other than being Stasis at best. So even this wrong take that these weapons are for the casuals is incorrect. Who is this for? Niche theory crafters? Defending bad RNG for bad loot so that a niche group of casuals can be farmed for engagement numbers, is a terrible take. This event is supposed to be for everyone, and it just flat out sucks when it comes to loot.

It’s not a wrong take. The vast majority of players don’t have every weapon in the game. These weapons that I mentioned will be part of many builds for many players going into EoF. Same with how they’re offering exotics. They’re for players that are coming back or new players. It’s a catch up mechanism. If you don’t like the activity then play something else.

It absolutely is a wrong take. There are many weapons in the game that are currently available that are not just objectively better, but actually better. There are multiple one two punch shotgun builds that proc the same bonuses, have auto reload benefits for meleeing, and are significantly easier to obtain right now that the SG. So that's already a wrong take on your part. I'm not going to dive into each weapon to educate you about the game, but "catch up mechanic" is just flat out wrong when these weapons are not only easier to obtain, but also better stat pools. Every weapon from the RoTN set is a niche combo at best, but objectively worse than most easy to obtain weapon options in the game. There are world drops better than some of these weapons, and you're insisting the loot isn't bad. This is also my thread and I can give negative feedback if I want. Sorry you don't like the fact that you're not as smart as you believed yourself to be and your opinion is just flat out bad, but if you don't like getting put in your place with facts and logic, then go have fun getting farmed in the activity. Take your own advice and get out of my thread. I'm not really interested in putting up with your delusional, apologizer nonsense either.

I gave you specific counters to your points, and you still want to pretend you have some validity to believe your opinion. Welcome to the real world, where your projections aren't reality. These weapons are no better than easy to obtain loot in the game, world drops even compete with them. They are bad, and they are no more casual friendly than they are for the elites. Yeah and the activity has the new explorer mode for a reason. It’s meant for players to experiment in dungeons and get loot they haven’t attained yet. None of the weapons would have made you happy regardless. It’s meant for returning players and new players. The cosmetics are also things end game players already have. Need some tissues? Good lord

I initially asked what scam and said it's just a videogame. You've still failed to actually explain how it's a scam. You brought it up, I asked.
