IS DEI in the forum with us now?
-
-
DEI is a buzzword parroted by dumb people.
-
Nope. Reality.
-
Virtual reality, maybe.

Editado por Queen of the Ravens: 12/24/2024 12:17:01 AMif you really think DEI is what killed bungie and not the -blam!- management of the game then youre just a -blam!- racist im sorry bro. it is -blam!- CONFIRMED that the entire reason the game sucks is because management doesnt allow the development team to do anything that is required to maintain, correct and diversify the content with the game to keep it fresh and excited. citing DEI as the reason you think the game is going under shows me just how much of a shallow understanding of the game you have. buy rope EDIT: since there are about 3 collective braincells in the replies heres a source https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/zhj8us/bungies_gdc_presentation_2022_has_concerning/ youd have to be living under a rock to not know about this. the fact of the matter is you chud -blam!- havent the slightest clue on whats going on and youd much rather play to youre own bigotry and and self loathing than understand how bungie is robbing you blind. seriously EDIT 2: further expediting the link clicking process since every -blam!- eater here has the collective intelligence of a pre-fire neanderthal https://www.gdcvault.com/play/1027599/From-Box-Products-to-Live

Editado por xbroggiex: 12/23/2024 3:48:04 PMSo management are solely responsible for... The poorly written story. The immense amount of bugs. The unsatisfying loot and drop rates. Lack of competent updates to events. Yeah right... one of the devs was asking how much the community thought they cooked with Contest of Elders on twitter and obviously got clowned on because its a shockingly bad actvity. Devs themselves defending the lack of seasonal trailers until the day of release "because why would that make a difference if you already bought it." or how about the insanely rude response to players asking for Twilight Garrison to return? Its painfully obvious to anyone that even has a remote inkling of knowledge on Bungie that its not just the management its the entire company rotten to the core. They even hired a pathological liar as a CM lmao, or how about the recent controversy with one of their own game directors that they fired Christopher Barrett? The narrative that its completely the managements fault while they take a lot of the blame is just a narrative to shift blame from those that actually make the -blam!- game because what they are producing is just bad.

https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/zhj8us/bungies_gdc_presentation_2022_has_concerning/ yes. literally yes. bungies management team on RECORD is hell bent on delievering undercooked content all across the board. this has nothing to do about "DEI" and everything to do about short term gains to bolster the stock profiles of those who invest into the company instead of investing into a quality product that will naturally overtime yield long term profits and gain. grow up

Editado por xbroggiex: 12/23/2024 9:28:45 PMSo the management is responsible for how the story is written? So the management is responsible for content just releasing unfinished and buggy when the devs have the same development timelines if not more time with episode development than seasons? So the management is responsible for loot being so stingy to the point that players opt not to even play the game? Seems pretty backwards if they want to make money off of the game. Outside of resource management they aren't responsible really at all for the shockingly bad story. As for bugs you could give the benefit of the doubt to the devs that its just because of layoffs(though revenant would've been mostly finished by the time the post TFS layoffs even happened) but lets not pretend that even TFS wasn't a buggy mess. Stingy loot could be attributed to a management decision even though its just given them the opposite effect of what they would actually want which is more players because more players = more money. I'm sure the eye and ear sore that is Nimbus was a management decision too 🙄 Seems to me they should just fire everyone since managment is just soloing development. Trying to shift complete blame onto management is obviously just so gullible that the poor wittle devs have not made bad decisions its just the management that is the cause of everything!!!! The devs could cook obviously!!! Like they did with Lightfall, The Final Flop and Episode Echoes(more like Episode Saint and Osiris glaze each other every week while a reused robot sinks into vex milk at the end because that was a "satisifying conclusion" to the episode.)

you clearly are only hear to rage and arent interested what so ever in reading what is actually the problem so im going to be a -blam!- just like you. yes. entirely yes. bungies internal goal of not overdelivering is the reason why ALL the content is undercooked. go read knob head
-
Editado por xbroggiex: 12/23/2024 9:31:39 PMIf they aren't meant to overdeliver and supposed to keep to a time schedule(train station choo choo) why has every major expansion bar Lightfall needed to be delayed?
-
i want you to use your thinking cap for a second and guess as to why.
-
Editado por xbroggiex: 12/23/2024 9:38:11 PMExplain why the story being bad is a management issue and not a writer issue. Hint: "Its not a time constraint issue considering they have enough time to write about character drama/relationships that no-one cares about and has no bearing on the main plot" If you cut the management out of Bungie nothing would really change the quality of the game, it would remain the same and probably you'd get less frequent releases.
-
step 1 management diverts resources from core developement area step 2 those core developement areas inform management that they dont have enough resources to properly release product within certain time frame step 3 management delays. simple math cmon use your noodle kiddo
-
Editado por xbroggiex: 12/23/2024 9:54:57 PMThey had hundreds of people working on Destiny and they can barely produce the bare minimum. That isn't just a management issue unless that issue is having those people do sweet FA. If the case was producing bare minimum as per managment rule we would've seen those layoffs ages ago because apparently those devs aren't necessary. At best management plays a big role in the problems of Destiny but they aren't solely responsible for every major problem with Destiny namely THE STORY. Its a convenient little scapegoat to deflect from the devs own mistakes onto some nameless ambigious "higher ups" that are supposedly responsible for every little problem. The devs themselves genuinely thought they "cooked" with contest of elders. And if we want to talk about management being bad then obviously their hiring practices and who they hire must be too.

what happens when you give people give people only -blam!- and a stick to build a house? you dont build a house. but youre clearly unresponsive to hearing that so have fun continuing to be addicted to your unfounded anger

If you're going to pretend to know what you're talking about, you might want to drop some sources, or you'll just end up looking like a total amateur. Here's how the big brains do it: - **In a Conversation:** "Oh, you didn't know exercise reduces stress? The National Institute of Health's study says otherwise, but I guess you're more into anecdotal evidence, huh?" - **On Social Media:** "The climate stats I shared? From the IPCC's report. But I suppose if you're not into reading, you wouldn't know that." - **In Writing:** "The economic data? Oh, just from the Federal Reserve's latest report. But I forgot, you probably think 'research' means skimming headlines." - **In Academic Work:** "Oh, you haven't read Smith et al. (2023) in the 'Journal of Environmental Science'? No wonder you're so clueless." - **During a Presentation:** "This graph? Bloomberg's Q2 2024 analysis. But if you can't interpret data, don't worry, you're not alone." Citing sources? It's not just a suggestion; it's the bare minimum for anyone claiming to have a brain. So, if you're going to spout off, make sure you can back it up, or just save everyone the headache and keep quiet. ***Was that lesson too advanced for you?***

you know what i will literally expedite the link process for you dweebs since youre incapable of understanding THE ONE I HAVE ALREADY GIVEN https://www.gdcvault.com/play/1027599/From-Box-Products-to-Live you -blam!- knuckle draggers genuinely make my head hurt..

Hmm, interesting but still inconclusive. We need more data to make a definitive judgment.

Editado por Queen of the Ravens: 12/24/2024 12:28:59 AMbro. if direct confirmation of systemic negligence is not proof i dont even know what will be for you people
-
Hey, using 'you people' isn't very inclusive; it can come across as generalizing or even offensive to some groups. Big oof.
-
trolling to troll now gotcha, enjoy being a pre-fire neanderthal
-
That's not very inclusive of you. It would be beneficial to consider how your actions or words can embrace a broader spectrum of perspectives and identities. Such behavior might even be seen as a microaggression, subtly excluding or devaluing individuals due to their differences. Embracing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) principles could help in fostering an environment where everyone feels respected and valued, moving away from such exclusionary practices. DO BETTER!!
-
What's Bungie push hard? DEI. What is the main focus of DEI? Diversity in your mind but reality discrimination. What are they doing when they focus on DEI hiring practices? Lowering standards. Enjoy.
