Strange Coin Limit at 99
I’m sorry, but limiting the strange coin accumulation at 99 is one of the worst ideas Bungie has had. It does not make me play more during the week, it really only makes me play less because why would I want to play if I am not accruing them? And if Xur doesn’t have anything I want or actually need (because he only offers 2 catalysts a week and I may have them both), then what can I spend the strange coins on? This is riding just another example why so many people are totally turned off to the antics from Bungie.

Save 99 so you can spend half of them for his buff which let's you get to 99 faster to buy the buff again. It sucks. I imagine they do it so people not real players farm and sell for real world

4 RespostasEditado por Hippo: 6/17/2024 12:54:39 AMIm not fussed about the cap being 99, its the fact its account based thats the issue, right now your limited to pretty much one thing a week for your whole account, whether that be an armour set or a catalyst, what if you need that armour for all three classes, with a few coins left over, well according to Bungie your -blam!- out of luck.

What's the point of not only getting the boost from Xur for spending 47 coins but ALSO stacking a SECOND booster the week after? It doesn't 'encourage' me to play longer. It convinces me to hop off once I've reached the cap. I can't spend them during the week after all.

2 RespostasI get what you mean but they don't want people accumulating hundreds/thousands of them and making Xur too easy to rank up. He gives great rank up engrams! The other solution would have been to make Strange Coins a lot rarer, making it a struggle to get any. Just try not to go for your ritual activity rewards until Friday+.

4 RespostasThe kicker here is that while orbiting you get all these tips and one of them is to keep track of your anxiety and stress levels. Yet they're doing nothing but potentially adding to the problems of those with such issues. We can't stack things so everything become a stressful grind during a few days and there's a timer on every -blam!- thing worth playing in the game atm. I'm not stressed but I've always hated timed missions and time trials in racers. Does anyone actually enjoy it? It feels like homework where something has to be turned in at a certain time or day.

5 RespostasYou represent 0.07% of the player base. Approx. 300,000 people are playing at any given time, that would be about 200 people. In other words, this is not a complaint that anyone at Bungie gives a flip about. I suggest trying to see it from their point of view, and move on.

Just spend them. They aren't hard to get and you get pretty good rewards

3 RespostasI agree capping at 99 is a stupid, spelled normal Bungo, move. 999 would make a lot more sense. But the only thing that really gets me about this is every streamer preaching we need to spend coins to get a coin buff every week. Uhmmmmmmmm, why? Getting 99 is easy peasy and I barely play anymore. It's Xur, I've been playing since D1 day 1 so what am I going to spend my coins on? If he sold harmonizers THEN I would value Xur. So far I have bought a cipher and will keep buying them as I get that extra slot open on my exotics I love to run with but since you only get 1 a week, again so???

They ignore the easiest solution, and that to utilize the material as many other developers have been doing for over a decade. It would limit a lot of the unnecessary caping. A lot of the unnecessary dismantling 1 at a time. A lot of the unnecessary staking that their "solution" is to remove the material from the game. I've never understand why this developer likes to create more problems than solution. It's just unjustifiable development that is a waste of time and resources.

Why do I have to click this button 99 times to claim random rewards from the coins? just let me do them in bulk purchases.. Hold control for x10, hold alt for x25 (or keep holding and press F4 to end suffering). Or maybe just let me buy more prisms/cores.. Also, we shouldn't expect better systems from them.. The lead designers are too out of touch with gamers.

3 Respostas99 is also a ridiculous limit when items cost 30 to 40 coins. What if I want to buy a few things? What if I didn't have that armor set and I wanted it just for fashion? Getting 99 coins isn't difficult. So having that limit doesn't give me a reason to play many ritual activities.

Xur rank up happens fast compared to other vendors, and I was surprised buying pieces that came in at 6 - 8 levels higher than where I was. overall at that time. With the 99 I was able to get 3 high value items I didn't need for any reason other than dismantle / upgrade fuel. Hypothetically, with 100s of coins I could have easily pushed my character power up 20 points or more in one five minute sitting with Xur. This is why the 99 cap. I'm sure many have had similar experience. Clearly, Xur is intended to be a source for items we're accustomed to seeing (plus good additionals including Catalysts)......but not a character rank up farm. If there's a better way of dividing up / pre-determiining how any single player spends as to avoid farms.....that's another question. But we all know this is going to be capped. I think the trend will be Dares coin farming IF you can reset your 99 count.

Lol I hate cap limits myself but this ain't it. Just hold onto them until there's something you want. We earn 4 or 5 of them per strike.

The vanguard ciphers are to 10, with double nightfall rewards at 4 per pun.
