I don't think she should have "become" a Hive at all. Why did she physically become a Hive at all? Why would the Sword Logic be somehow tied to Hive biology?

Her body was already partly Hive.

Just her eyes and that was with the help of an Ahamkara bone after she jumped a Hive and tore them out of its face. Personally I would have liked it better if she just took off the bandage and let the world see her as she was from then on. No need for weird temporary biological changes into a different form.

Yeah, maybe but it’s a goofy fictional game that doesn’t have to follow the rules of reality. People like “new forms” just look at DBZ.
