No, it's dead because of the fact that they have people running this project that has no experience, and they hire people who have no experience in designing a game. All they are doing is working off the original Bungie's work, but they doing a horrible job at it because everything that made what Destiny was and could be was literally ripped out of this game just use you guys to fund their other projects. Think I'm joking, go look up Luke Smith's work history before he was hired on. This is who was directing D2 and why the game is in the very poor state it is in. The damage done to this game is actually scary to even think that they are designing other games, knowing almost every single original Bunge dev that designed Halo is gone. Their streamer buddies have been helping them ruin this game for years because they only care about their wallets.

  • No experience doesn't mean incompetence though, you can at least take a look at other games and take notes to design a game. What's baffling me is that they make me or other guardian with no education, experience or training in game design look like we know what we're doing

Remember in D1 when he said he wanted the Taken King more accessible to his little nieces so they could understand what was going on? He steals all his ideas from WiW and Magick the gathering

He steals all his ideas from WiW and Magick the gathering[/quote] Yep, I remember, and I also remember that he didn't design H.O.W. and was pulled off the project at the beginning of it to lead D2 which became one of the biggest disasters in gaming history that showed the truth about how much this business lied about his work. Also, the lie that he designed V.O.G when it was Gavin who was the lead. He played WoW and from what I understand he paid someone to run his account to get his title. This guy has a bad track record and I have no idea how he even got hired.

  • Thought this for about 18 months. I remember a spate of new hires posting their joy on twitter, there must have been 30 people who tweeted & I noticed the pattern, little to no experience, young, all hired for D2 seasons or expansions. When 1 of them said they where lightfall lead I was kinda shocked but knew where this game was headed. They've done a decent job tbf, but the mission design of everything being a little arena, lots of nonstop adds, is very basic & the whole thing feels like it was made by people who grew up playing borderlands. There's been a huge increase in bugs in this time too, there's more disabled these days than active.

  • The thing I do not understand is how they went from Halo offering what they did in D1 to, hey, let's just throw a bunch of people on a new project that has no clue on WTH they are doing and let them trash it for the next 6 years 🤦‍♂️
