What you take as an insult and what is offered as an insult are 2 completely different things. A New Light to me is a person who began playing D2 post Shadowkeep. New Light is more akin to a player generation like Gen X or a Millennial is to IRL generations. It's really as simple as that.
Also what you've been arguing has been incorrect the whole time. Even Bungie called Year 1 the Era of 2 Primarys because if it wasn't a Heavy my boi it was a Primary. I'm honestly confused about why you're trying to argue against that fact.
Honestly I don't care if Trace Rifles have Infinite Ammo. The core element of the post is that specials can't spawn Heavy. If Trace Rifles can somehow be changed to spawn Heavy I'm equally fine with that. Though I do still believe that Traces as the perform current should be a primary just like any other Auto

But it doesn't bother me 😁. And special kills still contribute to heavy ammo spawns, but NOW that you can produce unlimited special with very little investment, you don't get to exploit the deprecated juggler modifier bug for 200-300% increased drop rate for heavy ammo. A lot of people say they're "Alpha" players... I'm as Alpha as it gets... and mechanics and systems are my lane. 😬 I know that was cringe... but it's true.
