Quick Message To the People Playing Altars
I know its a new season, new content, but make everyone a favour, if you put it on tier 3, at least make sure you can do it,
cuz for some reason all I get in the matchmaking are people that put this at tier 3 and dont know what they are doing or just stand there killing adds
its bad enough getting bombarded by Shriekers and other annoying mechanics, but at this point im burning ammo cuz i have to drag dead weight
Edit: most people just want 3 quick rounds for the weekly reward so stop being a meathead

1 ResponderNo , people equip 100 resil with some nonsense resist mods that don't do anything 🤣🤣 then go into hard content thinking they can tank anything to eventually die as soon as they get hit ... Do me one favor and check how much resil everyone has before starting it and then watch how fast they die 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 It is because of toxic people that say going into hard content without 100 resil is suicide wich is not by the way . It is a skill issue if you require 100 resil to do anything .

And if you want to run multiples in a row, you're going to have a lot of people jumping ship when they can't do the tier 3s. This is a casual activity and it seems fairly over tuned. Teir three blind well is not hard. Why does this need to be?

16 RespostasOh man, the amount of times I've spawned in to two floating E's and three shriekers in the sky, and then when they're revived, they leave the mess they made and go to orbit...unless everyone agrees on Altar 3, it shouldn't even be an option. I keep spawning into messes I didn't make. I now try to get to the altar space as fast as possible so I can slam a Altar 2 offering in before anyone can do anything stupid. I thought this lesson was learned from Deep Dives!

Omg the same! Yesterday I was put in a tier 3 match! I was like “What the F…!” One blueberry was in the back with a bow AFK and another was dying a hundred times trying to float across the room without knowing the modifiers this week, and no one was punching the damm crystals! 🤣 I just laughed it off since it a video game, but it can be frustrating. People need to LFG tier 3 matches, I’m thinking blueberries want to know how hard tier three is and just activate tier 3’s for sh.Ts and giggles.

So being the kind guy that I am, instead of just bailing on them, I try to help by using a tier 2 so they can learn the mechanics without all the shriekers and exploder crabs. Then, because I must have wasted their time with a piddly tier 2, they vacate the game. Wasted.

1 ResponderI sometimes get matched with people who can't even do tier 2. They farm ads and don't hell me out with the objective. Like dude I can only do so much alone, we're "5 light under" yet I'm being insta killed by literally everything like its a GM nightfall but even GM's feel more fair cause I have team mates pulling their weight. This season is literally just, "Season of the reason I don't trust blueberries"

3 RespostasI never quite understand how a gilded rank ‘10’ or ‘11’ speedster 🤡 all aglow, races ahead and loads a tier 3 event - and then promptly expires?! And, when revived, expires asap slotting ads and nothing else?! Occasionally, the two remaining randos can give it some beans and get it done (rarely) or nearly done (most often)… Then, our glowing speedster 🤡 goes and does the same thing over again?! 🧐 Now, that might have been a mere handful of ‘10/11’🤡🤡🤡 I have been equally amazed at being on a team where two epic 10/11 players carried me hard…and what a joy to behold it was, too! 🥳 As an old tortoise, I usually go for tier 1 or 2 depending on what’s up, or, how the team8s indicate; and it usually works out, and we get stuff done! 👍 Just my two cents. 2 RespostasBungie doesn’t explain anything. I put in a tier 3 on my first try of altars, didn’t know what it was or even that it was supposed to be hard. I didn’t know what the heck I was doing. How can I? After the second go through it, yeah, obviously figured it out. But it’s Bungie’s fault for never giving us any heads up about what we are supposed to do, that’s the favor they do their content creators. Like the secret chests in Savathun’s Spire, never knew until I saw on YouTube. Surprise!

The thing is, I'm sure *I* can do it. I have ZERO faith in blueberries. I stick to 2's without a premade team.

Early Court of Oryx vibes, which is basically what this mode is, just reskinned. I think another issue is a lot of people haven't unlocked many cards yet so they go in without realizing how hard it will be on tier 3 right now. Once people have their decks open it will be much easier to farm.

They are the same people who do not know about, or refuse to enable, the initial “ three symbol” buff at the beginning of the event.

My favorite is the "guardian rank 11" players who put in Tier 3 then die immediately. Yea guardian rank totally means knowledge of the game and experience Bungie. If that was the case I would expect them to not be the one dead 90% of the time of a tier 3 as the rank 6 blueberry is running around slaying out.
