Haven't played in 4+ months. Honestly, it feels good. Less stress and feel a lot more free. Destiny 2 didn't feel like fun anymore and felt more like doing chores. Still, I take peeks to see how the Destiny 2 community is doing, so it looks like nothing has changed.

You felt "stress" playing Destiny 2? lol ffs... get your life together
-
I take it you're very new to Destiny 2, huh?
-
Not at all, but weird observation. Videogames don't stress me out. What about this game makes you feel stress, specifically?

Editado por AznShadowrunner: 8/25/2023 5:15:17 AMI played since D1, beta, day 1 and the same for D2. I logged over some 7,870 hours 48 minutes on Destiny 2. According to my raid report, I have 767 clears on D2 raids. I was a raid -blam!-, as you can tell. I got burned out playing and hated the Lightfall changes. You can look me up on the websites if you don't believe me.
-
Yeah, great. Can you answer the question though - what about Destiny, specifically, stresses you out?
-
Doing the laundry lists of pinnacles, making sure I didn't miss any. I was more of a PVE player than a PVP player, so PVP rattled me a lot until I was numb after a while. Then there was raiding. Raiding ate a lot of my time. I would play with my clan(s), my sherpa's friends, and LFG's to get god roll weapons or unlock prints of them. I'm making sure to get all the raid exotics. Doing Grandmaster Nightfalls to get the title every season. Which lead me more to other titles I would chase. That was stress. I'm sure there is more I am forgetting because I am writing this from the top of my head. After awhile, over the years, it just ate me up until I dropped my controller and couldn't move during Lightfall. It was at that time I knew I had to stop and call it quits.

Okay. No disrespect, but you shouldn't take it so seriously. I've been playing since D1 and I've never been stressed out. Games are just for fun. If they become boring, overwhelming or stressful you should just just stop, or at least not do the specific activities that make you feel that way.

Well, not all gamers treat games the same. Not all Destiny 2 players are the same. The game pulled me in a whole lot. There were days of raiding where I would see the sun come up trying to get my first completion. Oh, yeah, and also chasing raid titles, too. Forgot about that. After a while, the game felt less like fun and more like a second job. So, yeah, I stopped, and I don't think I want to come back. When I saw the Final Shape debut on YouTube, I wasn't impressed. I can't see myself buying it.
-
I understand. Good for you breaking the habit. And yeah, at the very least, wait until the DLC is $20 on sale lol
-
Thanks. Bungie already squeezed enough money out of me anyway. Have fun.

I occasionally come back when I feel the need to shoot some stuff with Sweet Business, but otherwise it's not worth my money, especially now that they've chopped the game up so much to monetize wherever they can possibly get away with. I understand needing to make money, but it's starting to feel like I can't do anything without a constant need to buy this or buy that.

Coming to the forums is not a good way to check back in how destiny is doing lmao I hate to say it but you’d have better luck watching a streamers vid or two to get a better idea.
-
Considering that streamers may have contributed to the state of the game now, I find that ironic. 🤔🤔🤔

It’s not like I wanted to recommend it lol, it’s just better than coming back to this cesspool. There’s some steamers that’ll give a non biased review on this game. Not all of them contributed to the current sotg.
