Double primary is no longer necessary for high end PvE.
Title.
Unless your soloing a gm then patience I guess but why am I still seeing it at endgame PvE? That and PvP mods in PvE.😒. These are the same players that religiously make a post on here saying destiny is too hard.
EDIT: Use what you want guys. Just know with the double special nerf coming next week, double primaries will be less tolerated in fireteams especially if your not pulling your weight.

2 RespostasYou do realize most builds destroy everything in GM’s and stuff with just abilities. I still use double primary depending on the GM, and the champion mods, and i have zero issues ripping through this so called difficult content. The other special options really aren’t that that much better either to be honest in stuff like GM’s. Fusions, trace rifles, glaives all feel just as weak when dealing with champs, light bearers, beefy majors and so on. The truth is an exotic primary still feels the best out of all of those choices still, so that’s why i still run double primary depending on the circumstances.

2 RespostasSome builds barely require weapons, so double primary is fine. Example: Fallen Saber, I tried Centrifuse with a scout, but only as a backup. I was spamming rifts and nades and lightning all over the place, I could carry a special weapon, not sure how often I’d use it. This week maybe a HC with Wishender, just for stuns. Who cares. The weapons don’t make the man. GMs are easy enough you can use a variety of builds and weapons and still be highly effective.

Master lost sectors are the highest end game I do. Preference I guess,but lately I’ve using Malfeasance and a scout or auto depending on champions. Void subclass with Lucky Pants. It’s the easiest time I’ve had.

3 RespostasI’ve Run Wish-Ender and FunnelWeb for a lot of GM’s, mind you this was before subclass champ counters. Never used FW unless I needed to stun a champ. I think nowadays it’s definitely not a “ideal” loadout, but if I’m playing with a blue and there using it, and are effective with it, then I’m not going out of my way to be-little them or ask them to change.
