Having content every week wouldn't change anything. The amount of content doesn't make a game as anyone can clearly see just pumping out content as they have been doing is why the game is in the very poor state it is in.
The quality of most of the content in this game is bad, and that is where the problem actually is.

People used to complain constantly that there was not enough content. The content we had was mostly good. Bungie listened and gave us more content at the expense of quality and we’re all complaining again. Funny

I agree with everything you said but 1 thing. This business listening when it's actually about selective hearing with it comes to them.

Editado por GIVE EM HELLBOY: 8/8/2023 8:30:55 PMNobody could've expected the quality to be compromised this bad with a bump in quantity. But leave it to Bungie to prove everyone wrong.

I agree totally. Sad really. Not many other games with the amazing potential of Destiny. I think that’s what’s most frustrating. We all know D2 could be an absolute masterpiece. It is a good game now fundamentally. The gameplay is smooth, guns mostly feel excellent, abilities are unlike other games (mostly), the user experience (loadouts and such) do improve…. But the rest of the games struggles and we just expect it to be better and it should be better.

Eh, it's a borderlands wannabe at best and the "smooth" part comes from nearly non-existent recoil and lots of aim assist/aim correction. As for abilities? I believe you can find similar abilities from games from 2014 and older. Guns are not so memorable to me when most of the time I see the same gun but with different colors and names and not to mention all rigid stats from archetypes compared to borderlands

The only close competitor D2 has is Warframe. And Warframe is only appealing to those who are willing to trade the FPS element for a TPS with more of a focus on slaughtering huge crowds of enemies. Which doesnt really help too many people get away from D2.
