I don't need them; there is just no way to even use them for me. I could go upgrade something needlessly and then break it down, but that down-conversion is a terrible ratio and doesn't seem worth doing. I have max of all prisms and golf balls because there is simply nothing that I want to do with them yet, and there is currently no way to down-convert them back to their other smaller currencies except for the armor upgrade hack to just break apart stuff you've spent on upgrading. If there could be a way to down-convert them, or even easier, simply no limits on what I can hold, then I would have no trouble. It makes zero logical sense for there to be a limit on what I can hold.

Or the 20+ fully upgraded exotic armor pieces to hoard shards?
