Rift in comp?
Does anyone know who likes Rift? Because i do not. If no one knows anyone who likes rift.... why is it still there.....

Alot of you would rather spend time crying on the internet instead of playing the game. In short: You guys just suck, get good scrubs

2 RespostasI like Rift in general- I don’t play Comp a lot, but also see it as a good thing to have in Comp. Most players who complain about it, seem not to want want to have to play objective-based game modes. That is outside of, who can get the most kills. If players want a “ranked/ competitive “ game mode, IMO, they should be good at a number of different kinds of games. If Rift were taken out, how many variations of basically Elimination would there be? Elimination, Survival, Domination- basically kill the other side before they kills you/ and or use up their revives then kill them, before they do that to your team. What does the majority of the “Competitive” PvP Community want? Seems from reading posts on here, you want new things added to the game, but don’t like what’s added.

Rift is the best comp game mode. The other game modes are slightly different clash at least with rift it takes some more skill and strategy like the way a comp game mode should be. I get it rift is more stressful than the others and thats a big reason why people hate on it without even realizing why and for those people i say play a casual game mode.

Rift is a horrible competitive mode. Frankly plays more like a party mode. The atrocious spawns alone warrants its removal from competitive play.

Was a great experience till i lost to an extremely sweaty team and lost the progress made from the previous 4 matches that night. They took away carrying the spark when you eager edge. They also need to make you drop the spark when you grapple with strand. You can cross the map waaaay to quickly with it.

1 ResponderEditado por JustSuper01: 7/6/2023 7:44:52 PMdude dont even try with rift there's a damn petition and they don't do anything about it. its sad how bungie doesn't care. i had a rift game and lost 356 POINTS!!! but won my next game and only got 15 points. its best to just stay out of PVP completely and I think that's what bungie wants. for us to hate PVP in destiny so much that the next game with PVP we will want to get into. and has dedicated servers apparently.

1 ResponderNothing like starting my placement with 2 rifts. But I think my new play is to get in the lead and not try to dunk, but die further away from my rift. That’s basically what I just did and it worked pretty well 😆

1 ResponderThey do it on purpose, the amount of rift matches i get is waaay to high to be random. No doubt they know the player base does not like it, so they keep it in there to keep the suppose toxic sweats out of comp.

I got rift yesterday. It was an OK game, but definitely not a mode I'd thought to have in comp. And while I can get along in it. I don't particularly enjoy it much.

Majority of the players that play competitive do not like rift being in the playlist. Bungie are aware of this; hence the reduction in rift games in rotation in competitive playlist. Bungie though have yet to do anything else other than the above; but putting rift in its own playlist and replacing it with another game mode would be an option for Bungie if they were to cater to the majority of players who play competitive.

You asked for it to come back, did you not? While I was here campaigning for Combined Arms, everyone seemed to want Rift back. Well, here we are.

It's pure garbage in Comp. 8 second spawns turns every game into who can force a spawnflip first.

Idc either way, as long as people know how to play it and put effort into winning.

Its annoying in Comp yes. But in the current meta of Pulse Rifles, Snipers, and Scout it has added a nice change of pace to force people to actually move. It's starting to get annoying to get pulsed, sniped, or scouted by people camping in their spawns. I am hoping the changes they mentioned today actually fix the problem but i doubt it will.
