I’m s a weapon on par with jotuun ,witherhoard, and osteo for sure and should be nerfed no reason it needs to take you out of the fight if you get tagged by it for as long as it does nor should it in most cases leave you one shot

From TWAB 04/21/2022: “Le Monarque is too oppressive when combined with external damage buffs, but we felt that it could be stronger in PvE - with this change combined with the damage buff change above we've introduced a 60-resilience gate on killing a Guardian in PvP with a crit while in an Empowering Rift or similar. Reduced poison tick damage vs players by 25%. Changed poison damage type from burn to poison (this is largely housekeeping, not gameplay-significant). Increased poison tick damage vs AI by 50%. ” https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/51250 There you go! Your nerf happened a year ago:). Have fun!

Sounds like bows also got a buff when that happened, and the amount of damage the poison does isn’t the problem, the problem is that the poison can damage you

Editado por DrippyRichard: 4/27/2023 8:47:25 PMI don’t PVP very often, or use Le Monarque when I do, ‘cause I’m really bad, I don’t see the “ease of use/crutch” thing with it… I can chalk that up to me sucking.. but I don’t suck so bad that I don’t disengage with a Lemon user when I get tagged by one… “Live to fight another day”, right? Bungie “tuned” the weapon last year, after a similar, though more robust, outcry from the PVP community, because it was one tapping while empowered. ( with a damage buff) I found it interesting that a weapon that dropped during Foresaken (3 then, now 4 years ago) was SUDDENLY OP, and needed a nerf… quite frankly.. ridiculous, however, Bungie “listened” to the PVP community and nerfed it.. luckily, they didn’t neuter it for PVE..it’s all in the TWAB I linked… Maybe the weapon will loose some of its luster when Bungie starts dropping the ban hammer on “accessibility devices”?? Maybe be sure to run resilience higher than 60?? (Maybe more ‘cause of Lightfall resilience nerf) TLDR.. Not MY “Crutch”/ It’s Already Been Nerfed/ @NOMORENERFS

The problem is it takes you out of the fight for so long
-
Every weapon you mentioned there outside of osteo is such a problem in the crucible. The iron banner went from who all has bubble titans to who all has enough witherhoard to clear the zone. The problem with them one and all is they are just so free. most who use them just throw out their two rounds die rinse and repeat. I don't really see any changes though. They have been doing what they do for so long and it is clear that they don't have any real concern for the pvp aspects of this game.
-
You don't have to aim any of those so no it's not the same. Most other bows used in PVP are 2 shot also. LM just makes it so you can't peak out for a longer period of time.
-
Wall hacks. 160 damage without any buffs which are easy to get Heals on kill Makes all players close disengage for a long time. Yeah that sounds like a primary ammo weapon. Lmao. Get real.
-
Wall Hacks? That's Wish Ender Unless you're talking about the damage ticks. Which you can do with a grenade too.
Heals on kill
What? That's a subclass setup has nothing to do with the Weapon.
Makes all players close disengage for a long time.
It's an exotic. It demands a different approach to deal with it. Not everyone is good with a Bow. Just like not everyone is a good sniper. Body shot sniper takes you out of engagement for a but too. This is all a horrible take for an Exotic.
-
HEALS ON KILL. Try it. Walls hacks on tick. Sure. Like a grenade. Except it’s not an ability with a cooldown. 160 damage base. With no buffs. I run around permanently with a buff. 180 easy damage. With two buffs? One shot below 9 resilience. Yeah. TOTALLY something that has unlimited ammo. Lmao. It’s OP af.
-
It does NOT heal on kill natively. I use it but not a lot. You can build around Void healing and Devour. It doesn't do it natively though.
-
Monarch's catalyst gives it unrelenting. It 100% heals on kill all on its own.
-
It heals on RAPID kills. Do not tell half the story if you're going to respond. You need 2 RAPID guardian kills to proc unrelenting.
-
lol. guardians and powerful opponents count as more than one kill.
-
Ok. So I re-read the Catalyst and I stand corrected...sort of "Rapidly Defeating Targets". Question then. What percentage of LM users have the Catalyst active?
-
Editado por $Three: 4/26/2023 7:45:40 PMkeep reading. Guardians and powerful opponents count as multi-kills. and literally everyone has the catalyst active. Monarch heals on kill in Crucible with no additional hoops to jump through. Kill a guardian, get a heal.
-
You don't know the weapon. "gEt kIlL, geT HeAl" you need 3 PvE minors 2 PvE Majors 1 Boss and 2 Guardians in order to proc Unrelenting. You just want the weapon nerfed so bad that you actually haven't taken the time to learn the weapon. Don't talk on subjects you know nothing about.

source me up big daddy. i'm happy to be wrong.

this is just a guy on youtube. i'll test myself.
-
You could've just done that yourself. I didn't need a YouTuber or some content creator. "gIvE A sOurCe." How are you going to comment on a weapon you know nothing about? "sOmE gUy on yOUtuBe" he's clearly made more effort that you have to figure out how the weapon works. It's not like it's crimson.
-
mostly i'm just in this because you seem to be really emotionally invested, and like, upset over this, so I'm dragging it out. i don't actually care, but i think it's funny to see you pissed over it basically. i will be checking in a private instance of pvp tho, just for funsies.
-
I doubt everyone but ok. It still doesn't need a nerf. If I'm running DevourLock the right way I get a heal on kill. If I run Solar healing the right way I get a heal on kill. Someone using LM that way does not have a real advantage over someone with the right build.
-
yea, no nerfs, agreed. and i assume you're fairly new to the game, but with an old weapon like Monarch it's really unlikely that people running it in the crucible don't have the catty. I mean maybe some don't, but the vast majority of Monarch users will have the catalyst done.
-
I've been playing Destiny since D1 beta. Profile: Joined September 11, 2014 I'm not necessarily disagreeing, but it's still not 100% Some content creator will put up something about LM and all the kiddies will go grab it and use it. They won't have the Catty. But I digress.

Never said 100%
