Just need to add my voice to the debate but really its not so bad for me now i refunded the DLC yesterday
I am happy that there are 2 different opinions in that some want more difficulty and some do not
I think for me the biggest question is why not keep the low end Activities like they are now and just make the high end more of a challenge but improve the rewards.
For me I don't do many GM's and i enjoyed mostly strikes, PVP and the low end nightfalls.
So the reason i refunded the DLC was just because I could see that it was going to be more of a challenge but also more time spent doing the same as I did but getting nothing extra for it (Cores and prisms really?)
I see no reason why they could not have catered for both camps of players but for some reason that only Bungle knows they just went all the one way
So yes it will be my last post but why Bungle ?, do you not get that the whole player base is made up of different types of players and we don't all enjoy the same thing .
I would have thought after 6+ years they may have actually learned something by now but i always thought D2 was made by Monkeys , i now know that's too insulting to monkeys.

Because even raids and GMs aren't hard... but the low skill players whine all day about how base strikes are too hard. They can't handle out rewards at all if players aren't going to bother trying to improve. I mean come on right, it's an MMO styled looter shooter. That basically means leveling up, improving and challenging yourself to obtain valuable gear. There's not really any really hard content in this game at this point. And the only real challenge is from champions (and that's only because they are stupid, overused, and force terrible loadouts on the players)
