Underwhelming overall? Yes, 100%
Improperly planned (ruffians,seals)? God, yes.
The worst? Wouldn’t go that far.
But, like you, next season is probably make or break for me too. I don’t wanna invest more money on possible potential, only on established quality.
Suck though. Loved the game for a decent while

I think season of the Hunt is the worst. I actually forgot that it was technically a season partway through it until the announcement of the next season following it.
-
Season of the hunt was ok, but just that. I actually liked some of the weapons, the activity was fine too. Hasn't really tied in with the narrative though imo.
-
Yeah that one really didn’t win Bungie any points. Story wise they feel like they’re slowly improving, but the same seasonal model is really getting old
-
Really? To me it feels like each season the story gets more cringey

I mean, everybody has their own opinion. You’re not wrong, nor am I right. I kinda like what they did with the Eido, Misraaks, Eramis dynamic. But Eramis was a bad choice for a seasonal villain. Felt inconsequential after Calus’ return. If they hinted at Eramis possibly feeling torn between siding with us or the Witness, it would have laid a better groundwork for her return later. Now, it’s like “yeah we kicked her -blam!- all over an entire DLC + an entire season…..unless they bring her back as something dumb, like Super Eramis, she doesn’t really feel like a threat. The season with Calus….was it Haunted??…. had pretty decent story, showing the internal grief, loss and struggle of several key figures.

You enjoyed season of the haunted story ? Where we just fought for everyone’s feelings and edgy crow ? It was like Bungie was trying to be as lazy as possible with that content. Well I think you’re here for the long haul safe to say if that’s what’s entertaining you

Editado por Will To Live (Timelost): 11/29/2022 11:09:17 PMCrow is one mic short of an emo band. Weepy character and in desperate need of a nut sack But the overal idea of blaming yourself for losing a loved one, not measuring up to a demanding parent, or struggling to atone for your past, are decent themes i.m.o. So compared to others storylines we’ve had, I feel like Haunted had a good go of it. In all fairness I’m not expecting a video game with a seasonal content model to shake me to my very core. It’s like a movie vs a tv series to me. A movie game (like TLOU #1) needs to nail the story on the head in one go, if it’s not sure there’ll be a follow up. A seasonal game like Destiny has good and bad seasons, just like a tv series. It’s more the lack of basic QOL improvements, and the endlessly repetitive seasonal model, that’s making me want to leave

Well said can’t argue that

Did you forget the entire over-arching premise of Haunted? We did the rituals and Severances because Calus was communing to the Moon Pyramid through the Leviathan, trying to cut him off from it, which we ultimately failed at.
