A Question on Changing the Active Account(Bungie.net/Steam/PlayStation)
So I've been a huge player of destiny since the 1st game on PlayStation, and am still playing the 2nd game on Steam, however I have a question regarding the active PlayStation account that's currently linked to my Steam account on Bungie.net; which I currently have Cross-Save active as well.
The question is this: If I deactivate Cross-Save, will it shove the characters on my Steam account over to my PlayStation account during the 90-day lockdown? The thing is this, I guess I was stupid when I first activated Cross-save and made the PlayStation account as the active account, however here's the thing: I deleted the characters that were originally from my PlayStation account and instead replaced them with new characters made on my Steam account, which I currently still have to this day!
So let me ask the question again with all that out there: If I were to deactivate cross-save today, would the characters that I made on my Steam/PC account be sent over to the PlayStation account as if I created them their? Like if I were to deactivate cross-save, would I have to start from scratch on my steam version of destiny 2? Sorry if I rambled, but I've been going crazy about this and I guess the posts I've seen just didn't seem like the answer to my question(s), thanks

4 RespostasNo, your current characters are still only on your PSN account because that's the main account in your Cross-Save. Whatever you do to your characters now will be actually done to your PSN account; if you deactivate Cross-Save, every account will return indipendent; PSN characters (which, I reiterate, are your current characters) only availabe on our PSN account, Steam characters on your Steam account.

2 RespostasYes, you would have to start from scratch on your steam account, as you PSN is main, if cross save is active you can use your psn account only on psn an your steam account will be forces to make new character, this includes everything items dlc, exotics, season pass. You will have to redo all that on your steam. Deactivating cross save means a FRESH start on all linked account other then your PSN.

2 RespostasEnabling Cross-Save with your Playstation save data as your active save data means all changes and gameplay while playing the game is done to your Playstation save data. Regardless of the platform you're playing on with Cross-Save, your Playstation save data is still your Playstation save data. If you deactivate Cross-Save, your Playstation save data will only be available on Playstation, and your Steam save data will be loaded from the point you first enabled Cross-Save. If you had no characters on your Steam save data, you'll be starting from scratch. If you intend to use your -currently playing- save data on Steam, you'll need to leave Cross-Save enabled, as, again (and as the other reply points out), you are using your Playstation save data through Cross-Save. Cross-Save does not move or merge your save data from one platform account to another, it simply lets you load one platform's save data on another platform.
