Difficulty is perspective and a very slim concept with destiny.
As mentioned it's having the time and having available fireteams.
There are some things that become head scratching worthy like endless sniper spamming from npcs or 17th run making the raid bug out so, "everybody go to orbit rq", But as a whole mechanics and gunplay are usually smooth
Repetition/monotonous game design is what I feel as the true killer of desire to play a game like destiny.
And light level is just a carrot on the stick concept as well.
Artificial and rng making it painfully drawn out.
Though on the same token people complained about rushing through content. (But this inflation of leveling and rng is a bad time)

Or clearing two tanks while fighting two unstoppable champions and endless adds while being bombarded from the air and having to shoot out three towers all in the two minutes you have left after driving a tank a mile? Anyone who says they did that easily glitched it.
