50 runs still no vex...
Hit my 50th run and just look at that, no vex anywhere to be seen.
Alright open letter to Bungie, should I give up? DMG, should I stop? Joe B, should I quit? You know what, you also, Luke Smith, should I surrender?
This is madness you guys! Consider the following, 25 runs should guaranty the vex drop.
Cause you know the definition of insanity? It's doing the same thing over and over again expecting things to change. I wanna stop being inside this cyclical HELL.
Food for thought, hope your belly is full of it, Bungie.
You're better than this, COME ON!

And yet, a D2 friend of mine just got it today on their very first run of VoG.... Could be because they play infrequently and Bungie is all like “Play More” and gave it to them 🤔 Like how I just went to my warlock yesterday and had 3 exotics drop from regular mobs in strikes. Bungie is all “Become a floaty boy, Forsake the Jumpy jump cloaks”😆

1 ResponderI feel your pain. I thought 33 runs was bad. Apparently people are running VOG up to 70 - 80 times before getting Vex. That is some seriously bad RNG. I have stopped running VOG for this reason. What’s the point?! 3% drop rate with no bad luck protection. You are better off doing something else.

It is always the same they won’t improve drop rates, everyone still plays, and they continue. So many issues with D2 and the drop rates are low on that list. You get a great weapon… nerfed! You complete an extremely long exotic quest chain… item is junk! They are destroying the raid system! No one wants to run VOG because of all the people pissed they still don’t have the Vex. They are tired of the runs because they have to do so many and are frustrated. Keep giving them money and they won’t change the destructive cycle! Bungie does NOT CARE!!

I just started again recently and got it on the 5th go the key to getting it is not caring about it.

There are people who get it first try and there are people who have 50+ clears who dont have it because that's how probability works. Bungie isnt gonna do anything unfortunately.

7 RespostasYou've now spent several days in that raid. Days of your life that you can never get back. If you were enjoying it, fine but I bet you weren't. This is ridiculously bad game design. You are doubly punished because it is harder and harder to find a competent team who can do it efficiently. Stop. Cancel your preorder. It is the only language they understand. Take a break and come back in a few months when things have improved. Maybe. I have not ordered Witch Queen nor 30th and never will. I'm out after this season (having got realmwalker that means pretty much now bar a bit of messing about with friends). In recognition of some of the good times over the past 7 years I will share this thinking a few times on these fora. Almost everyone will ignore it, which is fine. Knowing you are out is like the fresh air of freedom. Seriously, try it. I had no idea how much this game had come to have such a negative impact on me.

6 RespostasMy son played hundreds of VOG, about 50 complete runs, and helped many get their Vex. But he never got one. His last time playing was 2016. He said, if I don’t get the Vex this time I’m done. He didn’t get it and he never played again. It took me 4000+ hours played to land Ghally. I no longer hunt any weapon. 2 reasons:1) always gets nerf’d; 2) ALWAYS GETS NERF’D! TLDR: play for fun, and when it becomes a chore, do something else productive…
