No genre as a whole, but it’s happened with a few songs, where I wouldn’t think I’d ever like them, but they wind up kind of great.
A lot of the time this is because it’s from a soundtrack, and putting some context around it made me enjoy the music. Not always, though. That one lady, Eilish or whatever, her songs are really whiny and stupid, but I actually kinda like a good amount of them, even though I [i]should[/i] hate them on account of how whiny and stupid they are.

Billie Eyelash is super overrated, but she’s actually not that bad. Some of her songs are [i]wayyy[/i] too depressing, but she has some good ones Have you heard “Come Out and Play” or “I Love You” by her?

I definitely don’t like all of her songs, and even the ones I do like I think they’re super whiny. Can’t deny they sound nice, though. I think I’ve heard “I love you”. If it’s the one I’m thinking of, it’s one of the ones I enjoy. I don’t really know any of their names, though, so I can’t tell you which ones I like.

The two songs I named are my personal favorites by her, and if you haven’t listened to them I would recommend. Especially “Come Out and Play” 10/10
