Because people think we’re too stupid to realize we’re blindly lfging in game instead of blindly lfging outside the game. And if someone mentions that dumbass raid report, I’ll do something.

Sure, there are LFG apps that you can localize to yourself, but the end result is, you’re still matchmaking with an unknown. No different than Bungie putting in an option to match make. I honestly don’t get the fuss when it’s an option people are asking for.

If you want a list of Destiny -blam!-ups……… I’m not saying Bungie institutes everything people want. In this case, its an option that affects nothing. People can choose to get their ass kicked with an LFG team or not. People argue vehemently over this issue for what now?

Honestly dont remember the last time I got my "ass kicked" with an LFG team tbh. As for it being blind, I at least have assurances that we will all speak the same language, have microphones and the inclination to use them. I can also ask for age, class, particular loadouts if I have a certain strategy in mind... or I can ask for experience (and yes, this is something that can be verified) for a stroll-through clear... or I can ask for newbies/learners like I'm planning to do tomorrow. None of that amounts to going in blind. The only genuine variable is whether someones gonna behave like a butthole... and if they do I can show em the shape of Italy.

I agree with everything you say. Thats why a choice of in game LFG doesn’t bother anyone. I can still opt out and form my own team. Join another etc.

Doesnt bother anyone right up until people who expected Raid MM to be anything other than a car crash start demanding Raids be watered down for MM teams. No bueno.

Let alone the cognitive dissonance of "I want to do this activity that will initially take multiple hours to complete" coupled to "I cant be bothered to spend 5 minutes making an LFG post".

My choice would be to look for another group. Thats my point. Now tell me how this affects you or anyone else? All you’re telling me are things I already know ahead of time that informs my choice as to which LFG I want to use. Again, how does this ANY player? P.S. Other than services like the police, fire and medical, I don’t require the government to take care of me from birth to earth. I worked hard, retired, and live off the wealth my wife and I made for ourselves. The same opportunities any American citizen has access to.

You sticking to matchmade activities is a choice you did. I use to do LFG but that is beyond me because I made the choice to make friends in Destiny because it is the path of least resistance, this is the long game, I don't have to deal with randoms of any kind.
