Crucible is weird now
I've played a few games of control today and it was the weirdest experience I've had in this game since D1. People were actually using tactics and I don't know how to describe it. It just feels so weird, but in a good way.
GG Bungie, you're heading in the right direction with pvp.

1 ResponderTaking a super tiny step in the right direction by nerfing stasis is not nearly enough. There are still tons of stasis hunters spamming icenados everywhere. There are still tons of annoying stasis grenades going off all over the place. There are still tons of shurikens being bounced around corners constantly. There is still tons of lag. Still tons of cheaters. Still massive imbalance. Still waaaay to many jack asses using energy weapons as primary weapons. Still horrible matchmaking. And now we have a brand new culprit on the field making PvP incredibly unfun. Now with the new trace rifle mods you got tons of ppl running around with an endless supply of energy ammo spamming giant laser beams everywhere with bull shit almost instant ttks. Bungie can’t program.

I came here to watch everyone regress into hating weapon meta instead of stasis. Not dissappointed. But yeah, i felt that same weirdness. I pushed a doorway and stopped moving cuz im usually ice at this point but... I wasnt 👀 I made movement and wasnt punished for it! God I was happy! Then i got my face ripped off by chaperone. It was the happiest ive ever been to be so f**king mad at something.

5 RespostasControversial opinion, I miss Stasis. I’m really bored of all the light classes being everywhere again. Kinda bummed our newest subclasses have already been relegated.

My reply to all: nerf hunters , they are the most broken thing in game, no grenade launchers , and limit the abilities, like celestial and sh1t. You will have a skillful crucible. This game now is for -blam!-

4 RespostasI agree man. And it makes the stasis crutchlords easier to spot. I was on Dead Cliffs the other day and some revenant got down to half health and instinctively popped super. I just jumped up and flew away from where I was standing, and as soon as his super ended he was firing where he thought I'd be frozen at lol. Makes for some really fun moments when you punish a stasis crutchlord for trying to stasis crutch.

37 RespostasIt feels really good for the 99% of the player base only plying hc/shotgun for players that use anything else it sucks! Bungie needs to learn how to balance weapons.

Less stasis has been great. Aside from that same old crucible. Slowly becoming my secondary game.

26 RespostasSince when is running at people with shotguns, or camping and team shooting, “tactical”? What’s the point of tactics in a game where people can simply run away from their mistakes and bad positions?

It'll be really interesting when the ability generations get nuked in a few seasons. The way the sandbox guys were talking, I bet they decrease ability generation by something radical like 50% and then buff the hell out of perks like demolitionist, mods like perpetuation, and perks subclass traits like line em up. That along with messing with the special ammo economy will be pretty different than what we've been playing.

I don't think you know what Tactics are. Stasis there or not Destiny 2 PvP has never been tactical or competitive. It's a junkfood game overall.

Players that left are coming back. Game play is almost back to the way it was. It’s great that Bungie listened and took action. Stasis was a disaster. Thank You Bungie.

Don't worry, we'll soon find the next best thing, and majority will just run that again. These temporary breaks with everyone trying something different are nice, but unfortunately they never last.
