1 ResponderThey either need a 10% base damage boost or a 15% precision damage buff. Literally their only selling point is their longer damage falloff, and even that is highly situational. Giving them enough damage to be a viable "all rounder" primary would be ideal.

10 RespostasIf you played D1, some Scouts were at a good place. For some reason when D2 launched, Scouts are not the same anymore. I have this saying that I follow in life. If it ain't broken, don't fix it. It wasn't broken in D1, and yet they touched it and did something to it. From that moment, game went downhill for me. After D2 launched, game has become weaker and weaker. Even now, you could feel the weakness. Controlled meta, nerf galore everywhere. Even your supers and abilities are tweaked to a point that some are stronger than others. D2 Scouts may never feel like the Scouts of D1. That's my perception of the game now. It's been more than 3 years, and I've never felt D2 Scouts be as good as D1 Scouts. And it may never be again. That's why I still like D1 over D2. 😂😂😂 Logic!

Scout rifles were great in D1. Not just a few, but nearly all of them. I used them constantly. In D2, they are just a shell of what they were. Outclassed in PVE by just about anything.

Firefly Hung jury is great. Worth the grind. I had a lucky god roll. Arrowhead Break for perfect 100+ recoil, steady rounds and surplus for 96 stability , 100 reload and 100 handling. And Firefly plus free warmind cells is a explosive combination that will stay even after season. Also worth to note that there is a visible difference in 75 recoil and 105. At least on PS4 the gun turns into mini Jade rabbit.

4 RespostasI have good scouts though. I have Crimson. Crimil's Dagger is also good scout. Now we have Igneous Hammer and we got Bottom Dollar from Gambit. All good scouts. Austringer and Trust were good scouts too back in the day. If you go for exotics, Sunshot is a good scout. You also have Thorn. All good scout options.

It may be damage in PvE , but their damage is fine in pvp . The scope viewkick you receive when getting shot at , especially by spam cannons , is not at all healthy .

7 RespostasI use scouts almost exclusively and recently picked up a decent trustee. The problem I find is they are a much more niche class of weapon because they are not forgiving. There are a few things that 3 tap on this game and 150 RPM scouts are one of them, but you have to hit all headshots. 120 and I’m pretty sure 140 HCs can get away with 2 head 1 body with much less ADS zoom. People have been talking about scouts being bad for a while, but unsurprisingly now that hung jury is back many are realizing that they just aren’t that good. 180s are in a very bad spot and essentially the same predicament 140 HCs were in back when 150 HC’s existed; one archetype basically outshined the other and this is the case with the 180 and 200 RPM scouts. It’s a tightrope for balancing these though. In my eyes all I really want to see is maybe a bit better hip fire across all to better handle mid range engagements especially on the scouts with ungodly amounts of scope zoom which seems to be like nearly 80% of them. It won’t make them busted broken like Dead Man’s Tale is but i think it would just be a QOL improvement that makes them a bit more usable.

1 ResponderExotic scouts are in an OK place rn. The reason scouts in general have lower TTKs is due to the ability to wreck your enemies from across the map probably. That being said, 180 scouts need some love
