Can We Just Disable Stasis In PvP
As a general question is disabling stasis in pvp a option, it has single handily become one of the most obnoxious things with little to no counters.
-You get ricocheting shuriken’s which magnetise to a player given them slow (by far the best debuff in destiny history)
-Slow dodge and rift freeze being able to clip through walls leaving a guardian helpless
-A tracking grenade that either requires you to run or use a jump ability to avoid already given more rng to gunfights
-A titan slide which is so fast that the servers cannot keep up
-A uppercut aspect that has a large radius to freeze a opponent also has the longest insta freeze break out timer
-A melee which propels you basically having a get out of free jail card for (also applies slow to targets hit by the melee.
These are just a few things as to why stasis is broke and I’m curious if we can disable (if that even is possible) it till it gets a proper balance patch

32 RespostasSlow is actually the weakest debuff and by far the worst. Only titan and warlock stasis is a problem now...hunter stasis doesnt do anything.

3 RespostasIf you’re go into PvP with an Astral, stop complaining because you can’t sprint through the map getting 1 hit kills. Stasis is fine because it puts people like you in check when you’re sliding and shotgunning the whole time.

It’s definitely an option but they’ll never do it. Primary reason being it’s the only thing they’ve added to the game in the past year. Yes most of us hate it, but if they remove/disable it they’ve literally not given us anything since shadowkeep.

Is Stasis (with all the "tuning" that has been done to it now) the end of the world? No. Do I cringe thinking of having to put up with this shit for however many years on end the franchise continues? Very much so.

Trying to get Bungo to move mountains is FUTILE! Bring the mountain to mohammad so to speak and make a gunplay only mode. No abilities, grenades or supers at all. Pure Gunplay! That's something that I can get behind and removing it from all PVP modes would suck!

Guess what happened? Glacier grenade. SYKE It missed me. 3v1 now as my team mate is down. 2v1 now as I’m running away and get 3 crispy shots with my Agamid. But then? A second glacier grenade. I’m frozen. I can’t do shit now. They’re closing in. I break free. It’s getting dark. I’ve lost half my health because Ice beats shields. I duck. “Was that a fcukin shuriken?!” Bungie slowly whispers to me in their Thanos voice. “Balanced” I’m dead. “As all things should be”. Please stop I’m already dead.

I think it should be considered that freezing only be possible from supers ,at least in PvP,make grenades and melees slow and disorient but not freeze

I don't think it's also welcoming for new players to experience especially coming from csgo, valorant, warzone, rs siege and overwatch

It shouldn't put you into a minimised form state of sliding, instead you should be upright, and it should have a cooldown on usage with one usage between cooldowns, but the servers can keep up with it. Might want to speak with your ISP if you think you're haivng network issues. No way in hell should it be an on command ability when its so strong.

I simply hope that in the future[i] (probably in a couple of Seasons from now...)[/i] Bungie will remove the "instant-freeze" mechanic in PvP. There's no place for a mechanic that doesn't allow a player to fight back his opponet and get killed for that.

Disagree with the solution that it should be disabled but they either need to hurry up buffing Light Classes or help tone down Stasis. In my opinion you’ve gone through a lot of great points I agree with. I don’t mind slow but if there are two stasis hunters(I play comp) on the enemy team then they can just toss in four shurikens and get easy kills and chaos.
