Ok so just screw doing deep stone crypt, prophecy, harbinger, the 3 ritual playlists, deadmans tale, which all give pinnacles, and just hop on forums. Just go grind pinnacles u have all season to do 1 grandmaster lmao.

Then you need at least a +15 artifact which is doable for most players but if you aren't 1310 that means you have to grind even more XP just to launch the activity. I think they should reduce the launch requirement to 1320 so more players can get into the activity. Since there is a contest modifier it really doesn't matter what level they use anyway since they can lock you at a certain level. so its already 25 higher just have the activity be 1345 and lock you at 1320 its pretty simple. Its already a decently difficult activity and just letting more people in wouldn't really produce any issues, all it is at the moment is adding more artificial grind for the sake of artificial grind.

by the time all the seasonal activities are out, assuming bungie keeps adding x4 and x2 xp rewards to some of them, ANYONE can easily hit 16+ artifact levels

I'm 1310 and have done 4 GM's already. You can hit it in 3 weeks if you do weird stuff and play all three character and do almost everything switch weapons on each character, but most players won't do that because thats a lot of time to invest just to get an artificial level up.

When I mean weird stuff I just mean switch weapons and gear between characters to maximise levelling.

A lot of the average players do not have the time to grind the same activities and bounties just to launch an activity. It would help get more players into the endgame content by reducing the artificial gating that Bungie does. If you do not play all 3 characters it can take more than 3-4 weeks to hit 1310 gear power dependant on your RNG. Not every player will have the time to run DSC, Harbringer, Presage, Prophecy, 3 strikes, 3 crucible games, 3 gambit games, Master EH, Exo Challenge every week. I criticise them because I want them to be better and a little more accessible.

I’m sure if the challenge was “go flawless in trials” all the top tier PvE players would get mad. For people that haven’t invested too much time in power leveling so far, doing a GM, or unlocking a GM are equally hard.

Gm's and trials are two whole different playing fields. Gm's just require you to play slow and smart while pvp is a mix of that and bullshit.
